This outlet is what I call 'terrible-good'. One one side, it's pretty terrible, but in other ways it's pretty freaking good. Allow me to explain. I believe this is one of the older outlets in the area. It's set up in small sections and features probably two dozen or so stores. What's great about this place is that it's not busy at all. One of my least favorite things about outlet shopping is that there are always tons of people getting in your way, but not here. We came on a weekend and it was practically empty. No lines in any stores. Speaking of stores, some of them include: Gap, Adidas, Nike, Calvin Klein, Bath and Body Works, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger. The outlet features pretty basic stores that you can find in any other mall or outlet in your neighborhood. If you're on vacation and don't have options and you need something, I'm sure you could find it here. It's small so you can get in and out in no time and since it's not busy that usually means you can get good deals. If you are on vacation you might as well stop by. If you're a local, you have tons of other options in your area so go there instead. read more

Well for some reason she was annoyed & just shook her head in disgust and rolled her eyes at me. I seriously don't know what her problem was but she definitely doesn't need to be in customer service. Located across from one of the better hotels in Ft. Myers, it's location was ideal before we got back on the road. Not as many options as indicated. Some of the most popular: Loft, Coach, Banana Republic, Tommy Hilfiger and Jos A. Bank are present. Take a peek inside your favorite stores and you might discover some really good deals. It's a nice/convenient outlet mall however the store directory is not the greatest. The mall is kind of awkwardly placed with some roads between stores. Then there are some stores where you have to cross the entire parking lot so you can get there (for example going to Ralph Lauren). We had a baby with a stroller so it was a little hard to maneuver through the mall. I also didn't see they had a food court which I thought it was weird. There was one coffee shop which we ended up grabbing coffee for however they do have vending machines throughout the mall. Doubt I would go back to this mall since I really didn't purchase anything and I just wasn't impressed with it. read more

5 stars! While much smaller than most outlets, they are never overcrowded, parking is easy, and the location is convenient! If you're looking for a quick shopping stop on your way to or from the beach or a light shopping excursion day, the Sanibel Outlets are a great no fuss option. While they don't have the mass of stores of most outlet malls, you still get your big brands such as Gap, Banana Republic, Loft, Nike, Polo, and Coach (just to name a few). The layout is very simple and clear cut, so there is no chance of getting lost at this outlet mall, which we all know can happen sometimes! Ughhh...there is nothing more frustrating than spending half your time looking at a map when you have limited shopping time. One downside! Make sure you don't come hungry because they only have one place to eat. A small cafe with limited food options. Also, the name has just recently changed from Tanger Outlets to the Sanibel Outlets. 3.5 out of 5. This is a smaller outlet mall compared to Miromar. Lots of selection and not too much walking. Highlights are Nike, Coach, (Kids Gymboree, Carter) Joseph A Bank. We didn't hit too many amazing deals ( I find outlets are hit or miss). This time it was a miss! I'm sure you could cleanup one certain visits but not this time for me! read more

We had a nice time out the outlets. Spent a few hours here and shipped for deal. We found some and were pleased. We've gone twice now.

Convenient to Sanibel and located at the point where Summerlin and Old McGregor Rd. come together. Tanger Outlet is easy to miss, if you're not watching for the turn-in. Once you're there, you'll be able to enjoy some shopping without the crowds you might find other places. This is a smaller outlet shopping center. Deals can be hit or miss. Our favorite store here is Famous Footwear. They have a wide variety of footwear for living in and/or visiting SW Florida. Flip flops for the beach, sandals for an evening out and more can be found. We hike and kayak and have found multiple shoes for those activities. If you get tired and want a break, try Island Java Café. They serve a wide assortment of hot and cold beverages. Their strawberry fruit smoothies are great! read more

A smaller factory outlet store with great store choices, including Bass Shoes, Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers. Not all that convenient to downtown Fort Myers, but worth the drive. Just check to make sure that they have the stores you need before you make the drive. read more

Great place for clothes. No more restaurant. My youngest loves the playground as long as it's not too hot outside (but she's easy to please). Only place I know of with little kids rides (other than the few at the mall) & they have several. If you've got a little one, bring quarters. read more

compared to Miromar or Sawgrass Mills, this one is definitively very small! but do I need to have a mall with 300 stores? sometimes that's just too huge. we liked going just to Tanger, maybe also when passing by going to Sanibel, so just go into some few stores, without any hurry, without 500 other customers who want to see exactly the same pair of shoes like you. read more

small outlet mall, but had pretty good prices when I went... banana republic, loft, and gap had huge sales and great selections! Customer service is okay, but not the greatest. A lot of the stores aren't where I would shop (izod, bass, etc.). Overall a good shopping experience when they have sales. :) Plus it was across the street from my hotel! read more

Had the time of my life shopping at this outlet. Received a lot of surprise discounts and gift cards and when I was in Zales trying to decide on what charm I wanted...the employee Julia was very helpful and all around a pleasure. Tommy Hilfiger is not a very nice place to shop here. Customer service isnt very good and helpful. Most of the time they dont and sometimes you stand at the register for a while even tho no one is helping anyone. I stopped going into the shop all together anywhere i go since i had bad experiences there. Also its known people steal from there. And when you change you can find some pretty disturbing things and you find censers from other clothes that have probably be stolen. And theres a lot of dust in that store. read more

This is a typical outlet mall, although smaller than some. It is convenient to the barrier islands and SW Lee County, Florida. Stop in the Mall office for a coupon booklet. You can often find equally good or better prices at major department stores when they discount items and/or have special sales events. read more

There are a few stores here that I really like (Loft, gap, banana republic.). However....they could use more restaurants, and restrooms. I was shopping in the Banana republic outlet and was told (with a nasty attitude) that I could not use the restroom because someone has to "escort" me, and there were no employees available to do so. Very bizarre and off-putting. I'd like to shop there more but it can be somewhat inconvenient. read more
