When I tried to exchange it the manager (I'm assuming he was the manager because I heard him calling other branches and asking how much money they took in that day) then began to check every single stitch on the entire dress inside and out then he sniffed the arm pits and declared that I had obviously worn the dress and was trying to cheat him. When I requested to have my dress back he shoved it at me with the receipt and refused to give me back the bag I had brought it in with saying that it belongs to the store. I don't understand how a clothing store can do business like this but I do know that I will never set foot in a Pretty Girl store again. Then , I look inside my Hugo Boss pants and it says MADE IN CHINA . Disturbed , I look at the jacket which says "MADE IN SLOVENIA" ... Hm. I do my research and find other inconsistencies like the material of the inside pocket label (supposed to be cloth-not paper), the absence of a watermark on the inside label, the pant pocket should also have a matching label -- there was none. Although they didn't carry the exact type of boot she wanted (the saleslady explained that it wasn't in season). Still, it seems thar Buckles has high quality items and provides great service. From what I saw, many of the items were made in Italy and Spain, and seemed to look nice from my (male) perspective. Although the prices of some items weren't cheap (I saw flats for $100), sometimes you have to pay for quality, style, and convenience in one store, and Buckles is that store. When I came in with my wife a few days later, the staff were again very kind. The owner pulled a few types of shoes and offered to order one she ran out of. When it was closing time, and we were the last ones inside, the salesman told us that although he was going to close the exterior gate so that other customers don't come in, it by no means whatsoever meant that we should hurry up. In other words, he wanted us to take our time, and made an effort to show us that. I like that. Most stores would close the gates and say they were closing, but not Buckles. Class act. Thanks Buckles for being so chill. Will definitely return with my wife to check out their summer shoe selection.
