So I called the latter for an appointment which they gave me for the next day at 8.30am. Arriving there on time, my thought process is how much time I will spend there and above all, is this going to cost me a fortune. At the reception, the lady was super nice and very professional. She was expecting me, and had all the details of my vehicle and the verification that needs to be done, and asked me to pull my car in. A few minutes later, the mechanic lifted the car up and less than 5 minutes later he had already diagnosed the problem and recommended that he will just remove part of the exhaust and solder another piece, rather than replacing the whole exhaust. He completed the job on the time estimated and at 9.31 am, I was paying the bill and left. It was nowhere I thought it would cost me, and totally amazed by the level of expertise and professionalism of the entire team. They are the muffler experts! Totally professional and above all, very trustworthy. They certainly deserve more than 5 stars This is how all car garages should be!

Low and behold, as I watched them fix my car, all they did was repair the flex tube which goes to the manifold. The mechanic then accompanies me to the office where he tells the girl behind the desk that he never said there was an issue with the manifold, another guy that appeared to be more of a mechanic (or a manager) comes to tell me that to replace a manifold is over $500. Then I respond to him, "what is your hourly rate?", the mechanic took 30 minutes and the pipe cant be more that $50. He replies that they work by "job", not by hour and accuses me of not wanting to pay for services that he rendered. He goes further to say that they are human beings and a family business and continues to insinuate that I'm at fault and that I don't want to pay. I explain to the gentlemen that he is not dealing with an idiot. If the mechanic had said he would have simply repaired a flex pipe for $320, I would have never agreed to such ridicules price. I explained that even at $150 hourly rate, plus the cost of the flex pipe, my bill should not be greater than $200. I guess he knew that he could not hold my car for payment because he said "do you want to leave without paying?" and I responded that I was not there to cheat him but did not want to be cheated either. I upped my price to $250 and he charged me $250 plus taxes (my offer included the taxes) but I paid any way. BE WARNED....these people try to come across as honest, BUT THEY ARE ANYTHINHG BUT !!!!!!! We we about 1/2 east of Boucherville, Quebec and told them to take it to Boisvert Ford dealership in Boucherville to hopeful will diagnose what is wrong with it. My husband went into explain situation but the person at counter (male) was rude and said maybe in a week we can look at it. They were too busy. We are not locals trying to butt in. They didn't care that we had ferry to catch on Wednesday and stood to lose the full cost ($1,500.00 for truck,trailer,cabin...night crossing) for late date cancellation. However, luckily I had a cousin who lives in Boucherville and she let us drop our truck & trailer in her driveway. She called around to a couple of garages to help us and Mr. Louis-Philippe Descary from Midas in Boucherville told us to bring the truck there and he would look at it first thing Tuesday morning, as it was close to closing time. Caa then brought our truck there. Mr. Descary phoned the next day (tues.) at 2:30pm our truck was ready to go. The starter had died. They sent the VIN; I checked on Google -- it pointed to a mid-roof configuration, but the photo they sent showed a high roof. On my last visit one of the owners, Nicola, who was also the mechanic working on my car for a scheduled oil and tire change decided that since I didn't have much mileage on it and required synthetic oil it would be fine not to do the oil change. He did inspect it to make sure it was okay to that and ultimately he saved me a fair bit of money. How many mechanics would have been so honest? The answer is not very many but it's gestures like these that win customers if you ask me. Next time I need work on my car I won't even think twice about where I'll go.
