All along, I told them the dumpster had to be picked up by Friday. When they delivered the dumpster on Wednesday, I reminded them it had to be picked up on Friday. Friday comes and they have not picked it up. I called and they said, they didn't know if they could get there or not. They finally did pick it up on Friday. EVERYTHING took numerous calls and reminders.

We tried every way we could think of to get it in the house and up the stairs ... not only was the item large and heavy ... it was also delicate and complicated to move, given its design, electrical wiring, motor and hydraulics. Clearly we were out of our league and needed help. It was 4:45 pm. on a Wednesday. We found On Call Moving's info online, called the number, and connected immediately with Jim. Jim was a Godsend! He was scheduled to be down the street from us, and made a quick trip to our home to see how he could help. Over the next few days he worked closely with Joleesa, at On Call's office, to get our job done. Despite On Call's extremely busy schedule, everything came together Friday afternoon. Joleesa called to get us in their system. Jim arrived with a three-man crew: Jesse, Sergio and Carlos. Everyone was super polite and respectful, professional, skilled at their job and well prepared, bringing clean moving blankets and securing tie downs. Jim, Jesse, Sergio and Carlos communicated with us and with each other calmly, clearly, thoughtfully and effectively. Together they got the job done safely and efficiently ... most importantly, with no injuries ... and happily, with no damage to the item or our home. Good cleaning, but sketchy admin. We've been using Summit for our primary home the last few…read moremonths. The crews bill hourly, and since my wife and I work from home we are there to let the crew in and wave them goodbye. The cleanings are good, no qualms there, but the surprise is always in the invoice. It's pretty common to receive an invoice with inflated hours, and if I hadn't been checking the invoices against their actual times worked, I estimate I would have paid over $1,200 more since inception. Generally it takes about an hour and a half to clean our home, so if I get an invoice for 2 hours, I just pass it through, because they deserve it. They work hard, and we have somewhat of a relationship at this point. Often, however, I receive an invoice for much higher hours (3+) than was actually worked, and I'm spending my time emailing with the admin team. It's a pleasant surprise when the invoice actually reflects the hours worked. To illustrate my point, one occasion they were here for an hour and 34 minutes, and I received an invoice for 5 hours of labor. Another time I received a 3 hour invoice on an hour and 15 minutes of labor. Yet another time I received a 4.5 hour invoice on 1 hour of labor. The team always corrects them when I bring it up, but if it was a rental and I had no way to confirm, I would have well overpaid. In those 3 examples, I would have overpaid by about $850. I would not recommend Summit if I was a savvy rental owner and cared about my margins. In my experience, it's likely you will pay more than was actually worked (sometimes a lot more). The cleanings are good quality, so I am happy with using them for my primary home. As an aside, generally when I use cleaners for rental properties, I go with a service that charges a fixed cost based on the attributes of the home (square footage, number of beds and baths, etc.)
