This is my first FL business I've written as it's been 15 years since I've been there, mostly went to FL as a kid. I went to Hanover, MD this past Saturday & had a lot of complaints. Until after halftime intermission, I was going to slam them with a 1-star review, but 2nd half was solid with the best thing near the end being motorcycles in a sphere that went around in circles. They started with 2 motorcycles, & we were all glued to went 5 motorcycles went in there going around quickly in that sphere. In spite of a few positives, there were a litany of things that annoyed me. I paid for 2 tickets for my girlfriend & I for $23 each, so not too bad, as a group was going, & I thought it sounded pretty cool. I remember going to the circus when I was a little kid & found it enjoyable. I was willing to give it a chance thinking it sounded pretty cool, & to be fair, ome aspects were cool. But the show itself was more sizzle & not much steak. We walked in the tent in Arundel Mills parking lot on a mild 60's outside April day. Garden Bros advertised "Climate controlled". When I bought tickets on 3/17, I figured if it was seasonable weather on 4/11/26 in 60's, it'd be comfortable, or on the off chance it was unseasonably hot around 90 F in April which it will hit this Wednesday or unseasonably cold in 40's, tent was going to be a comfortable "climate control." In spite of comfortable temps outside, it was very hot in there in concession areas as well as arena itself. Also, food & drinks concessions had no prices on them. I don't like businesses that don't have prices on them. Some from our group bought food &/or drink, most of us didn't. Per what people said, hot dogs were $9 each, & bottled water was $6. $6 bottled water is comparable to a Capital One Arena pricing in DC. I wasn't surprised it was a rip-off. At least at any of the sports/concert arenas, prices are clearly listed so you know whatever probably ripoff you're paying. But here, you buy water, hot dog, popcorn, soda, etc., you're at the mercy at whatever they charge you unless you ask. Staff was also were aggressively yelling cold drinks, etc. I found this to be annoying too. If people want food or drink, it was clear that it was there, so they don't need to yelled to advertising the drinks. I also think the "climate controlled" is technically not false advertising; I believe they purposely "climate controlled" to be hot in there so people would buy more drinks. They also had various knickknacks like toy swords that light up & other junk made in China. Not only were the junky toys out in the entrance area, they were yelling out & holding up the brightly lit items throughout the show, which at times was distracting from the show. Kids are going to beg parents for the bright lit items during the show, or the kid is thirsty (which they & adults too would be in the very hot arena) &/or hungry. $23 reasonable price, but a total money grab over all the other stuff. We didn't fall for any of the extras, but we were annoyed by the aggressive sales & heat. In terms of the show itself, the first half especially was very amateur stuff. There was this stupid Junior the Clown, who came out between acts, who was annoying. I don't think I would've found much of his nonsense funny even as a kid; most of kids weren't laughing. The theme of the show was using various movies & the themes of each act was somehow related to the movie. Like for Wicked, they didn't defy gravity, but they were on ropes high up amongst other things, which was pretty good. For Star Wars the light sabers they were using didn't light up. They were just metal bars they were fighting each other. They were selling all kinds of crap that lit up, so you'd think they could've made a light saber that actually lit up...LAZY. It wasn't a big deal as we laughed about that nonsense. Further, the video graphics were terrible. You could see the panels & not good graphics. The movie scenes in the background moved quickly; like a few seconds per scenes they were using. I'm wondering if they could get away with a few second scene as I imagine they probably didn't get permission to use the movies in the show, but who knows. Also, sound quality wasn't so good on some of the non-sensical dialogue between Junior the Clown & the movie executive guy, but just as well as they sucked anyway. Also, don't expect animals like back when I was kid in the 90's. PETA ended that at some point in the early 21st century. I had kind of hoped there was some humane way to have an elephant in the mix, but I guess not. They had cute ponies, which looked miserable, outside going around in circle attached to metal bar kids rode on. If you're going to go, which I don't recommend, just don't say I didn't warn you. Be ready for heat, have plenty of money to shell out especially you have kids. I recommend eating & being well hydrated before going in, which my girlfriend & I were. read more

Was it the best? no. But this little circus had some great stunts. Sometimes it was boring was same things done, but there was laughter and awe. Kids had fun with the different Hollywood movie style scenes. Food and drink prices were crazy but similar to amusement parks and other events. For the ticket deals they offer, they have to make money some how. They had fans which made it kind of cold since outside was rainy and cold. You want to take pictures with a performer? $16.57, rides and other fun were about the same, but we're closed due to the rain. The 2 hrs was ok but could be hard for young kids, so be prepared to go walk outside or have enough money to buy treats. Will I go see it again? Garden Brother Circus went to Saint Charles this past week so we decided to take the kids here on their last day of showing which was Sunday. The kids did enjoyed the circus. Yes it was hot but we were prepared by bringing our own personal fans. We also brought lemonade drinks and soda. We brought the popcorn but that popcorn was super salty, hint needed more fluid to stay hydrated. The show itself was great. It is not as big or fancy as the shows we saw in Las Vegas, but they were still good. The food and drinks is on the pricier side and parking is $20. Overall we enjoyed the show and were glad we brought our own individualized personal fans which help tremendously. Also if you don't like hearing loud noise, this can get loud so i brought ear plugs which were great. I can still hear through the earplugs. read more

WARNING: Overpriced, Dangerous Cash Grab! I spent $270 on 4 seats today at the St. Charles location, and it was hands down the worst experience of my life. We fled at intermission. This entire operation is a miserable, overpriced scam. Defective, Dangerous Seating: The seats we paid a fortune for were completely broken and structurally unsound. They kept flipping forward while we were actively sitting in them, forcing us to constantly brace ourselves just to avoid being dumped onto the floor. Severe Safety Hazards & Useless Staff: The bleachers are incredibly dangerous, featuring massive, gaping holes under the seats that a small child could easily fall through. My son dropped his phone through one of these gaps, and the staff completely refused to help us. He was forced to crawl under the bleachers in the pitch black and mud to get it. He returned to us completely traumatized and soaking wet from head to toe (pants, shoes, socks, everything). Extreme Price Gouging: A small plastic bottle of warm Sprite is $7. A tiny plate of funnel cake is $13. To make it worse, when I asked the food cart staff for prices, they ignored me, stayed on their cell phones, and just muttered "No habla inglés." Miserable Conditions: There was absolutely NO A/C. It was so suffocatingly hot inside that tent I almost passed out. When it started raining, water began pouring directly inside the tent onto people. For bathrooms, you have to hike outside to disgusting portable commodes in the pouring rain. Awful "Talent" & Blown-Out Audio: The performers had the skill level of a cheap neighborhood birthday party clown. The music was ear-splittingly loud, and the audio was so blown out you couldn't understand a single word of the broken English being spoken over the speakers. The shows were entertaining and the people were friendly and professional. There was a good amount to do, but my main complaint is that they should not shut all the bounce houses down when a new show starts because there was a small amount of time from the end of our show and the next show so my kids only got to go in 2 bounce houses, 1 pony ride and 1 round of splat wars before it all got shut down and I wasted a lot of money on unlimited ride bracelets for a whopping 2 bounce houses! The show is really good! The only downside is that is so hot inside, I mean it's Texas on April 25th, no air conditioner or fans, so you are busy fighting the heat while trying to enjoy, children liked the show but were bother about the heat, I just can't believe they don't have like fans on, we literally had to drag used paper plates from the trash to use them as hand fans, horrible. I won't go again unless it is during winder or fall. Take a hand fan with you if you go! Also everything is extremely expensive, now I would just don't buy snack or rides in there, other than that we received a good deal for our tickets, but the heat it's an issue for sure. read more

Stay far away from this HeatWave circus event. There are way better, more affordable, and family-friendly options out there. First off, it's St. Louis in the middle of summer--they know it's blazing hot. Yet they still expect families to spend $145 for three tickets and then charge $6 for water. No free water options, no AC, and barely any airflow. Maybe a few fans here and there, but for what they're charging, they could do much better. Prices inside are ridiculous: Two lemonades: $26 One funnel cake: $15 Kid's toys: $20+ each One ride down a slide: $7 Taking a picture with your own phone: $14 It felt like a complete rip-off, and the event itself wasn't even impressive. The staff at the entrance were okay, but beyond that, most of the workers had pushy, sales-man attitudes with zero customer service. Also, do NOT waste your money on VIP or premium tickets. Once the show starts, people just sit wherever they want anyway. There's no discounts, no perks--nothing. Honestly, this whole thing felt like a scam and a waste of time. We attended the Richmond show on 3/8/2026 and were really disappointed. This show is hardly appropriate for children. The costumes were way too sexualized for a circus that clearly markets itself to families. It's not necessary to have women swinging around with their a** hanging out, and the shirtless guys during the "Matrix" segment looked like they walked straight out of Magic Mike. The wicked witch of the west may as well have been naked. There was also a huge screen behind the stage playing clips from PG-13 and R-rated movies, which felt completely out of place with a crowd full of little kids. The show ran about two hours and maybe five minutes of it actually had a real "wow" factor. On top of that, the food and attractions were extremely expensive. Horrible is how I rate this circus. Absolutely horrible. Face painting...$16. Took 3 minutes. Pony ride...$16 and lasted 2 minutes. Bouncy house, well $8 for 5 minutes. And thats each bouncy house. Can't take bottled water in so bought 2 waters (Sam's Club), cost $12. A $0.30 bottle of water cost $6 at this show. DON'T GO TO THIS SHOW! And we got a snocone for $15. Money well spent? The show itself was good and entertaining, but everything else was insanely overpriced. A snow cone was $15, soda was $7, lemonade was $13, and the games were $8 per ticket. The bracelets were almost $100, and even taking a picture with one K-pop character cost $16. Unfortunately, the extra costs really took away from the experience. Garden Bros Circus - July 5, 2025 - Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus Ohio. (1 out of 5 stars) We attended the Garden Bros Circus today, and unfortunately, the experience was overwhelmingly disappointing from the moment we arrived. The event was held under a tent at Historic Crew Stadium on a 95° day--but inside, it felt like 110°. There was almost no ventilation. They had maybe a few small fans on the tent poles, but it did absolutely nothing to ease the stifling, stale heat. Everyone was drenched in sweat and visibly uncomfortable. To make matters worse, they wouldn't allow any outside water. Once inside, we were forced to purchase water for $5 per bottle--cheap Sam's Club Member's Mark bottles, mind you. We bought six, which came to a ridiculous $32. Popcorn? Three small bags cost us $28. A snow cone in a light-up cup (which looked like something from the Dollar Tree) was $14. The pricing was absolutely outrageous and felt like price-gouging. We had also paid ahead online for the "Obstacle Bounce House" experience, which turned out to be a sad little inflatable slide--nothing like what was advertised. Honestly, hardly anyone was buying the extra experiences, probably because everything was so overpriced. As for the show itself: some of the performers were genuinely talented, and there were a few enjoyable moments. But the oppressive heat and frustration over the prices completely overshadowed any entertainment value. It was hard to focus on the show when we were so physically uncomfortable and irritated. After the 20-minute intermission, not even half of the audience returned to their seats--which says a lot. Overall, this felt more like a cash grab than a family-friendly experience. As first time circus goers, really horrible experience for us 05/10/2025 @ 1:30pm show in Arcadia, CA This review is solely on the people running this event. On the website it clearly states "temperature controlled tent" it was definitely NOT. Outside temp was 99 degrees, inside the tent was for sure 10 degrees hotter. They had some tiny fans that did NOTHING. There was ZERO airflow. Literally everyone was dripping sweat just sitting there.... Imagine the performers???!?? with their costumes, makeup and all!!!?!???? A ton of people left during remission. Conditions were very dangerous (heat stroke vibes) no refunds or ability to come for later show either. The performances were great but hard to enjoy. The performers really gave it their all........ Like other reviews mentioned, EVERYTHING is sooooo pricey (water, snacks, games etc) supposed to be no outside food or drinks- however, I did see a lot of people with their own water bottles (we brought ours in too) as we all should! Given the conditions of their event- someone in the audience (or even on of their own) could've had a heat stroke and Garden Brothers would've had something else coming (if you know what I mean) Parking was $20 which was steep. Lots of hidden fees regarding the "free child" ticket. Also, not worth paying the "VIP" experience as there are no "bad" seats. I will suggest though, that sitting front, stage center is probably a better spot than on the sides of the stage We will not be doing another Garden Brothers circus again. read more

NO A/C!!! Now that summer is coming, I think this is a critical thing to know. We saw the show today in Arcadia, CA, and it was basically a sauna. It was hotter inside than outside, and it was 100 degrees out today. We left at intermission, but not before paying $30 for water, since we couldn't bring our own in. Parking was $20 - this wasn't mentioned anywhere when we were buying tickets. Pro-tip if you're going to any of the remaining Arcadia shows - park on Huntington Drive for free and walk in. Another tip - all the seating is close to the stage. Not a bad seat in the house. So there's no point splurging on premium or VIP tickets. Just get the cheap seats. The show itself was entertaining enough, despite all pop culture references being extremely dated. I feel bad for the performers and the dogs for having to perform in way less than ideal conditions. TURN THE AC ON!!! Omg! We are currently watching it in Arcadia CA right now as I am typing this. Temperature is 99degrees F. Whether you buy discounted tickets from Groupon or pay full price, pay for GA seats or VIP or have world class performers mean nothing when your audience all feel like being bake in a hot oven. Can't focus on the wonderful performance by all the talented performers when the owner of this circus is such a cheapskate to turn on AC in this freaking hot weather! We feel pity to the animals and the performers having to perform in this heat while in costumes and full makeup. THIS IS TORTURE!! Update: we left during intermission. TL,DR: Don't go. It was so unbearably hot we had to leave after 30 mins. None of the acts are impressive or funny. Listen. I get it. It's a pop-up circus in the middle of a mall parking lot in Rockaway NJ. I was not expecting "the greatest show on earth". But I was at least hoping for a couple of laughs and a little wide-eyed wonder for my children. I wish I could at least say it was mediocre and disappointing but I legitimately feel obligated to warn anyone considering attending the "Garden Bros Nuclear Circus", please don't. I'm not sure if it was just our section but other reviews I've seen online, that I foolishly disregarded before purchasing our tickets, suffered the same experience we did. We arrived a little early, found our seats and settled in. Shortly before the show began, they turned on the heat. I'm not sure exactly what they were using but within 10 or 15 minutes our chairs were literally hot to the touch. My two year old passed out. My perpetually cold son asked me "why is it so hot in here" for the first time in his life. For my family's comfort and frankly for their safety, I gathered them up and walked out. All that being said, it was not a difficult decision. The show starts with a clown and a guy in a suit trying to spoil his fun but he didn't have a mic. So we only heard half the jokes. They shot a guy out of a cannon. That was cool I guess. They have some jugglers and trapeze performers. A guy dressed like Indiana Jones shot some balloons with a crossbow from like.... 20 feet away?? It's barely a circus. Nothing was impressive or entertaining or funny. I was here with my son. Honestly i do not recommend this place. Bought a tickets, on the website its wrong address. Had to drive and search the place. When you call, nobody responds to the calls. They have a few interesting shows( dog show, acrobats) but most of them dancing, which is not really entertaining kids. We had a great time at the Fresno show. The performers do a great job involving the audience. I do recommend ear protection for the littles because it is loud in there. It is expensive once you get in the doors because they are very strict about no outside food/drinks. attended the 1:30 PM show in Charlotte with my son and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. As soon as we walked in, I stopped at the merchandise stand on the right-hand side and purchased one toy that was priced at $20. I tapped my phone to pay, received confirmation that the $20 charge went through, and even showed the employee the receipt. She insisted it didn't go through and had me tap again. I was then charged a second time, meaning I paid $40 for one $20 toy. On top of that, I paid $26 for food, and the chicken tenders I bought for my son were pink inside, which is a serious food safety concern. I also overheard other guests saying they were double charged as well. Overall, it felt very unprofessional and disappointing. What should have been a fun experience for my child turned into frustration over being overcharged and worried about food quality. I really hope management looks into these issues so other families don't have the same experience. read more

Phenomenal experience and production people complaining about price of concessions and parking are ridiculous they got to pay rent were they are set up and they have to pay the salaries of 150 people to put the show on. I attended with my daughter today because she received a "free ticket" at school. Well my ticket was $55.25 parking was $20 and light toy $12 before entering the tent. They advertised a "Kids Zone" that starts 1 hour prior to show time. A 5 minute pony ride $14, motorized car for kids that barely worked $7, giant slide $7. Go in and 2 burgers and 1 fry $28. 2 Cokes $12. I forget the price paid for cotton candy but it was expensive too.Talk about head knocking at every turn. Well the show is mediocre at best. My daughter commented "there's only one clown and he only did one trick." The themes are out of touch with the kids. Some of the themes for skits/acts were Indiana Jones, The Mask, Star Wars (lame one of the light sabres didn't light), Moana, Barbie/Ken and there was a football skit that I just zoned out on. Metro Atlanta has plenty of other things to do that offered way more bang for the buck. The acts were okay, not your typical circus, a couple puppies, a lot of dancing. The most notable thing besides feeling like I was in a sauna was the price of everything, I mean everything. viewed them in Illinois and wasn't very fond of the staff. we went to a show that had less than 50 people in attendance . we paid for the VIP for 2 tickets and we had a voucher that said 1 kids free per paid adult ticket. well we get there and they refuse to let us use the voucher for the vip sections even though they cost more than the general tickets. the voucher did not day general admission only. they originally tried to say no refunds and wanted me to buy 2 more tickets jets and I said no and finally they traded my tickets.. they stuck everyone in two single rows while there were hundreds of open seats so we were cram packed like sardines for absolutely no reason and the staff was really rude about the seat numbers we must sit in. also.... who charges $9 for a SINGLE hot dog not toppings??? ridiculous I usually expect to spend money but after spending over $100 and NOT getting the vip experience the prices were ridiculous. I will not watch this company again. not to mention they give free seats for children but sell by seat numbers and we had to move twice because people came in with the seat number they moved us too. read more

I was with my granddaughter and was driving south on I-91 when we saw the big circus tent. We turned around and went back and am I glad that we did! Yes, it was expensive to park, $20, and it cost $100 for the two of us to get in and at first I just assumed that we had just gotten ripped off. I have no idea how anyone who saw the show, who saw many of those performers put their lives on the line, especially the 6 motorcycles in a sphere at one time not to mention the skill and strength involved for most of the acts, could criticize the show. Is it perfect - no - but nothing is perfect. And, we definitely got our moneys worth. If you go to the 7:30 pm show then don't plan on getting out until around 10:00. They even let you take pictures with many of the performers during intermission - for free and no rush. I would even go back again. Really! How many circuses are still touring. We were excited to attend the circus on July-26, Saturday, especially after seeing it advertised as a climate-controlled venue -- but what a letdown. It was blazing hot inside. Absolutely no proper ventilation, and it felt like the air conditioning either wasn't working or didn't exist at all. People were visibly sweating, fanning themselves, and clearly uncomfortable. By the time intermission came around, a huge number of people didn't return -- and honestly, I don't blame them.The unbearable heat made it impossible to enjoy the show. Calling this "climate controlled" is outright misleading. For the price we paid, this was a pathetic experience. Michelle was overly rude, non compassionate and not understanding. we drove over an hour with a very excited 8-year old child who was let down. THE "FREE" TICKETS are VERY misleading. We were that was a company that was sponsoring the event AND were handed 15 "free guest tickets" for the staff of the company that was sponsoring the event. At the gate we were told to read the fine print which stated "free child". mind you the management was not willing to work with us, was very rude and abrasive. I would not recommend this event. Yesterday I attended your circus at The Family Arena in St Charles, MO. I could not have been more completely miserable inside your tent. It was a oven. Not a single bit of air movement. I have attended another big top tent circus, and they were able to air-condition the inside with adequate units. There was one ac unit on my side of the tent but it was not anywhere near me. And the vip customers got fans?? Really??? They couldn't even be felt. You way overcharged for food and couldn't be bothered with providing your customers a bit of comfort on a very warm and humid typical St Louis summer day. Our group of 5 left your circus performance after 35 minutes of torture. Don't come back to St Charles without adequate ventilation at the very least. However, I and my daughter's family will not be back. We will happily tell our experience to as many people as possible. When a circus ticket is advertised as being at the Family Arena, it should be inside the family arena not in the parking lot. I have attended a circus inside and it was wonderful. read more
