The issue with it being the only flower shop nearby? Holy moly, the prices were high. My sister was with me and owns a floral truck in San Fran...the land of mega inflation. She said that flowers were 50-75% more here than what she pays per stem at home. Between the limited options and the prices, we build a small (but beautiful) bouquet, which they put in a wet wrapping and placed upright in a box for us. We spent $70 for the pictured flowers and later added wild flowers from home to fill it out a bit more.
