The woman I spoke to on the phone was very attentive, thoughtful, expressed her attention to detail and really spent a lot of time with me getting my order together. She even took a picture of the arrangement they were sending. Buyer beware - this place has dramatically changed for the worse, seemingly overnight! Hummingbird used to be our go-to, favorite florist and we used them for everything and were always extremely satisfied. We ordered an arrangement that we bought in early October, 2024 and it was stunning. We just ordered another arrangement last week (early November, 2024). We were so disappointed in it, and would have been humiliated to gift the arrangement to anyone. It was supposed to be a $50 arrangement (no vase). The arrangement itself was small and very unimpressive. It was far more filler than flowers, the stems were not even trimmed and it appeared not to be arranged. It looked like single stems pulled from the cooler and clumped together in a wad. To make it even worse, I couldn't even make fix it and make it look decent because the quality of the flowers was disgusting. Every single flower wilted and drooped within a couple of days, even mums which typically last a long time! Some of the flowers never even fully opened, they just dried up and died. They were about the quality you would expect if you stopped at a gas station to buy flowers. We called to complain and they offered to refund us. Do not know yet whether or not they refunded our credit card. In any case, we won't be ordering from Hummingbird again because I don't want to be embarrassed by sending such poor quality flowers to anyone. read more

I called like 10 florist shops before this to see if they could make a Lei for my father's graduation and they didn't even know what a lei was or I had to wait either a day or a week except for Hummingbird Floral! I called 10am to see if they could make me one right away so I could give it to my dad later on that day around 4pm. I called 2pm to check if I could do a early pick up and they already finished! I have been doing business with them for years and have ordered flowers for weddings, funerals, day brighteners, etc. Their customer service is top notch. Today, I have been working with them on prom flowers. The stylist has been incredibly helpful and the owner is actually bringing in a different color rose tomorrow to best match colors. Their floral arrangements are always gorgeous and I have received nothing but glowing feedback from the people who received them. Hummingbird floral is an AMAZING store! It's family owned and the staff really does treat you like part of that family. In the past they've walked me through all of the flower types, availability, and prices to make sure I got the exact arrangement I wanted. Another time, when i was in a rush, I said "surprise me, just make it something nice" and the product again, looked wonderful. I'm very pro this shop and highly recommend it! Because it's a small family owned business I've noticed that an arrangement may cost a few dollars more than something from a larger chain, but the quality and care is very apparent and makes it worth every penny! read more
