Hi, I was a patient of Dr Monica's and Doctor Artiz for about 5 years. Dr Artiz was a very very…read morenice doctor. Not so much Dr Monica, she would yell constantly every time I was there. I moved to South Jersey. I have fibromyalgia at 44 years old. I can barely walk now or even barley shower twice a week. The Pain and Disability Institute refuses to send any of my records to a new pain management doctor since I moved to South New Jersey. He tells them that I never had any imaging done. We ALL know that we have to have some imaging done before we leave the office. Even if it's not for a body part we're there for. I have had so many doctors request my records. And every time they try to request them they do not send them. One doctor even tried over 10 times. When I call they say they sent them to all these different doctors who I've never heard of. I cannot find a pain management doctor without my records. My life has become absolutely debilitating because of them. I encourage everybody to speak up for themselves and report them to the New Jersey department of Health. I did. I believe they're committing medical fraud. Among other things. The doctors gave me numerous procedures on my back. I was told by the other pain doctors that these procedures were completely unnecessary and do not work for fibromyalgia. I had many of my doctors telling me to report them to the New Jersey department of Health as well. I already have. I called The Pain and Disability Institute and told them I would be reporting them to the New Jersey board of Health. And they said fine go ahead... And hung up on me. This is highly illegal what they are doing. So thanks to them. At 44 I've practically lost my life. All because it's a cash scam there. Thank you Dr. Metha's

When the woman finally picked up, she was extremely rude. She kept talking over me, raised her voice at one point, and rushed me off the phone when I tried to ask a question. She would not let me make an appointment, and said that they would call me back later in the day. How hard is it to make an appointment?? She also asked me for my name twice, my phone number twice, my insurance carrier twice. Extremely frustrating. They called me back, and I was busy. I returned the call and got another woman who was very pleasant. Of course, she had to ask me the same questions that the first woman asked me, which was annoying. I asked her if they were in-network with my insurance carrier, and she said that they would look into it and call me if there was a problem. Not sure how they didn't already know--everybody other place that I've been to knows whether they are in-network or not. I show up at my appointment, and they tell me that they're not in network so the charge is going to be enormous. What a bait and switch. I was furious. I have no idea if the physical therapy is any good, but my experience with this place was just abysmal.
