The people working were super friendly and helped with suggestions. BBQ is my favorite venue so I was quickly pointed towards and tried the brisket. The brisket was fantastic and portions more than ample. For sides I opted for collard greens and baked beans. Neither disappointed! It also came with cornbread with was sooooo good and moist. Open since 2010s, this spot has started to earn its place in the BBQ world, albeit being newer to it. There is an indoor seating inside near the gas station shop aisles. The ribs are cooked well with a nice wood profile, but neither very delicate nor particularly notable for their flavor of the meat itself, with smoke notes dominating. The quality of pork itself and the slightly tougher preparation could be better to rival Alabama's best. The BBQ sauce is loaded up with vinegar, completely overpowering the meat if consumed together, although to be fair, this may be a matter of preference for some BBQ lovers. The star of the show is potato salad which was perfectly balanced on its acidity, sweetness and overall flavor.
