Beautiful store, not so beautiful experience. I was visiting a friend who lives in this area and stumbled upon this on my walk. I was drawn to the Christmas trees but I love plants in general so I came in here to see if I could go back with a small gift. I got dirty looks from 2 customers, but other than that, no one interacted with me. I walked around, wanted to ask about a hoya plant but I the vibes were very unwelcoming so I left. There were some workers in the back but they said nothing and offered no help. read more

The staff are always happy to let me wander and look and glad to answer any questions I have. They are the reason I have beautiful plants in my home and have actually been able to keep them alive. It was an absolute joy to visit this garden shop recently. To start things off, there is a beautiful outdoor area with plenty of plants. The area is full of up-cycled decorations which is evident of an environmentally friendly business. Inside the building, there are plenty of smaller plants like succulents. They also had lots of miscellaneous items like fertilizers and soil. There were also a couple ladies running the shop who were very helpful and more than happy to lead us in the right direction. All in all, this is a gorgeous plant shop that will definitely help you with some gardening needs. read more

Lovely selection with helpful signs for outdoor plants: sun loving vs. shade loving. The inside of the store has a nice layout thats not too cluttered and the plants are displayed nicely with the names and prices clearly marked. I just happen to not realize that a string of turtles was $40 until after I brought it home, but Squirtle is staying! Don't expect to bargain shop like Lowe's clearance, but expect friendly, helpful service with a wide selection of beautifully maintained plants, and pretty ceramics from local artists. Oh, and the sign outside saying that ppl who park where they shouldn't be getting composted--hilarious. read more

Great place to get plants and herbs. Wife was very happy to find the herbs she was wanting and a beautiful hanging strawberry plant. That was on a Friday. Went back today (Saturday) and bought another beautiful hanging strawberry plant for Mother's day tomorrow (her mom turns 97 in June praise God). Service was helpful and very knowledgeable. Even granted a small discount on two of the herb plants that were on the dry side! That was a big thumbs up to me. Will probably be back! read more

I bought a cactus. When I got home to repot it I noticed it was infested with red ants and some type of insect. I washed off and did my best to kill them all. I went a second time to the store and I asked for the price of a pothos. When I was looking at it I noticed it was clearly infested of mealybugs. Other indoor plants were full of super webs and not well taken care off. Shame because this is one of the few nurseries in the area. BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BUY A PLANT. Check for insects. read more

I was fortunate enough to find both Monstera Deliciosa and Monstera Adansonii in Gardener's Outpost and I had no choice but to bring them both home. When I saw the plants in the store I could see that they were being so well taken care of from the ample grow lights, to the established root systems, and best of all I could tell that they were watering their plants based on need and not drowning them all like some big box stores tend to do. When I was checking out the selection of both Monsteras I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted for my home because so many of the plants were bursting with new growth and they were all very big and healthy in appearance. Both plants have made a seamless transition into my home and seem to be loving their new placements. There's been no yellowing of the leaves nor any leaf drop. It has taken the M. Deliciosa a few days to climatize to the moderate humidity levels in my house but from what I can see both plants are happy and healthy. read more

The place is super cute and has a good selection of plants BUT as soon as I brought my plant home I notice mealy bugs and I call them and ask about it after reading reviews that people have had the same problem and they told ME to go back and buy their bug repellent???! Really upset because I'm sure they know they have this infestation and thankfully I hadn't put the one plant I bought next to my others but I definitely did not expect that response. read more
