Run...don't walk to seven Oaks for your vegetable plants. Here's a picture of 12 healthy plants…read morethat I got for about $21. The value is something to write home about! Unbeatable value! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! My guess: the same veggie plants would've cost me at least $70 at Lowe's or one of the other places that sell ubiquitous Bonnie brand!

So over about the past year my girlfriend and I have been acquiring plants and some pots as well…read more Most of what we have is from here, and honestly we love our little indoor plant garden. I will say I don't have a very green thumb and have definitely killed (loved too hard) about 1/4 of the plants we've bought, but the ones that are still alive are doing quite well for the most part. I just wanna say thank you to seven oaks plant shop for such an amazing variety of plants to pick from. We mainly have indoor ones as that's the only place we can really have them, and throughout the year y'all are always getting more in. This makes replacing the ones that decided they couldn't withstand our love easy to replace. Personally I'm a big herb lover especially of mints, I really enjoy them for the smell. Seven oaks has a great variety of herbs even when they are low on inventory. I heard from one of the employees that they are getting a new shipment of herbs in soon, I can't wait! Also I've looked around at other plant stores and their $ for plants and pots is extremely competitive, pair that with their amazing customer service and you have one of the best plants shops this side south. I added some pictures of some of the plants and pots we've gotten over the past year. We actually still have our first plant we ever bought alive, I don't know how but it's still going.

This was an alright Home Depot, as the store was very clean, the one associate I interacted with…read morewas nice and helpful, and I got in and out pretty quickly. However, I personally think that Home Depot, in general, lags behind Lowe's in a number of key areas, mainly customer service and especially the garden center. Now, I am admittedly not a contractor or experienced in construction, but I think Lowe's does a better job at mastering the overall customer experience.

We attempted to purchase and have a GE Profile dishwasher installed through the Home Depot Harbison…read morelocation in Columbia, South Carolina, and the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We ordered the dishwasher, paid for delivery, professional installation, and the required installation kit. Prior to delivery, we completed all preparation exactly as outlined on Home Depot's website. This was a replacement of an existing dishwasher, not a new install. The plumbing and electrical were already in place, and there are existing 2-inch holes through the cabinet to route the water and drain lines, which is standard. After unboxing the dishwasher and bringing it into our home, the installers told my wife they could not hook it up because the lines run through another cabinet. This makes no sense given that the old dishwasher was installed the same way. Anyone with basic installation experience knows you simply tape the old lines to the new ones and pull them through. My wife even asked if they could complete everything except pulling the lines through to the sink cabinet. They said yes and then left without completing the install. I then called Home Depot customer service and, after being transferred three times, finally reached a supervisor. Unfortunately, it felt like talking to someone reading from a script with no interest in resolving the issue. Since it was clear this was going nowhere, I told them to come pick up the dishwasher. I will purchase from a company that can actually perform the installation they sell. I am capable of installing it myself, but I don't have the time, and Home Depot only allows 48 hours for returns. This entire experience was a waste of time and money. Very disappointed, and I will not be purchasing appliances or services from Home Depot again. Around $900 for Dishwasher $200 for installation now someone else will get that sale.
