Mirasol School

We are so grateful we found The Mirasol School at just the right time for our family. We had tried…read morea few other daycares that were decent or even good, but from start to finish this place truly felt like home. No one asked me to write this review--I just had to. We've sent three of our four kids through the school, and the staff consistency has been amazing. It always felt like the same friendly, helpful faces each day. The teachers are truly dedicated and genuinely care about the kids. The entire facility is always clean and organized. The artwork they send home is top-notch--our kids were always so proud to bring it home. One of my daughter's teachers would routinely do her hair in fun, fancy styles just to make her feel happy and special. The overall structure of the program is outstanding. We always felt our children were safe--never a worry about security--and the communication has been excellent. Kim, the director, is warm, professional, and always helpful. She's guided us through decisions when we were overwhelmed and always understood the stresses parents face. She goes above and beyond to ease those stresses and offer support. We're sad to be graduating out of the school, but we will always feel forever grateful. Thank you to all the staff, who now feel like friends. Danny and Kelsey Embick

Two different schools in the Palm Beach County Public School System fought with us when we wanted to leave him back and it was clear that he was seen as a lost cause that would just be passed along from grade to grade unless we changed schools. 5 years later the progress my son had made at Providence was truly remarkable. Obviously, they taught him how to read but also the skills necessary to learn, both in the class and at home. Socially, he became a gregarious confident young man who sought to help his fellow students. For him, in the middle of 7th grade, we decided it was time to try public school again because of what Providence had done for him. We could have not envisioned a better result. He has moved into advance classes in all his core subjects but for English and Math, and the only reason he has not advanced in Math is because he did not start public middle school until 7th grade. His teachers look to him to assist other students, a task he truly enjoys. Socially, he has also thrived, easily making friends and bullying no longer an issue. Thank you, Providence, for this amazing result. If you are considering Providence, do not hesitate. It is truly a remarkable place.

Small classroom sizes, access to teachers and administrators electronically so we could keep up on a daily basis with their work. More importantly, easy access in person when wanted or needed. Our son chose the arts and is now a stage/film/commercials/voice-over performer after graduating from the Dreyfoos School of the Arts High School and Florida State University. He is a kind, educated and polite young man. Rosarian played a large part in that. Our Daughter performed in the arts through high school, but chose science/health and is now in her first year of Residency as a physician after graduating from the Oxbridge Academy of the Palm Beaches High School and Florida State University. She is a kind, educated and polite young woman. Rosarian played a large part in that. We felt our kids were ahead of the educational curve when they graduated from Rosarian. Both went to academically strong high schools and the Rosarian graduates tended to stand out.

We did not know where we were going to live, but we didn't know that we wanted our kids to go to a good school. So we base our home search on schools and we found Palm Beach gardens had the best schools in the neighborhood and we found learning experience through multiple referrals. And I do believe that we made the right choice by putting her 4-year-old in the school. She has developed and learned so much over the year and made new friends and their friendly staff is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend them because we are so happy that The program they offer. She loved her teachers and her classmates. We always got photos and updates at the end of the day, and were very happy with how things were going. When she transitioned to the next class, things went downhill. Off the bat we didn't have the same good feeling about the teachers compared to her last class. It was an overall colder vibe, not as caring. My daughter has ALOT of emotions (terrible two era) so I understand this can take a toll on the teachers. But I didn't appreciate how every day when I picked my daughter up, she seemed like she had been crying for long durations. One day, she came home with marks on her hand. I know one of the teachers has long nails but didn't say anything because it could have come from a child. However, none of the teachers commented on the marks which to me was a red flag (usually we would get an incident report or at least the teacher would tell us what happened). Another time, after picking my daughter up, she kept repeating in the car "stop crying, stop crying." When I asked her who said that, she said teacher. I showed her photos of her teachers and there was clearly one aid who she seemed scared of. After this, I immediately pulled her out (also after seeing a similar review from a student in the same class). When the head of the school met with me after I pulled my daughter, she seemed very protective of her staff and I almost felt like she was trying to tell me I was wrong for pulling my daughter out. However, I am SO thankful I did. We transitioned her to Bluffs School and things have improved significantly. The teachers are all warm and have great energy, I love the director, and the tuition is only slightly more than The Learning Experience! Overall, we're happy we made the move. I also was to mention that you should read the positive reviews on Yelp. At least one is from an individual who thought they were posting a review for a toy store. Mistakes happen, but what I think is gross is The Learning Experience commented on that review thanking them for the positive review (see photo- in case they try to get this deleted).
