At 9:30 I received an after visit summary and I hadn't even seen Dr. Russo. I asked if that meant no one cared to see me and all the clerks just looked at each other, so I left. By the time I arrived home, all record of my appointment, and the fact that I had received the after visit summary has been deleted from My Chart! I reached out to Dr. Plocher s office and was given a number to call. I've called four times and it gives you the same message that everyone is busy and leave your name, number, and they will call you back! It's been two days now, and apparently no one is planning on calling me back to make another appointment. A big fancy ass building and this is the second doctor I was to see for two different issues and neither need was answered by this great new resource to Peoria. OSF is no longer the hospital it was when the sisters operated it. A huge loss for Peoria citizens and surrounding area clients. I am 71 years old and was God's love showed me a sign!

This woman was rude, arrogant, dismissive, and utterly incapable of dealing with my wife in a professional manner. She offered no help, no suggestions, and basically said that our doctor has no idea what he's talking about. At one point she said "Well its not my fault you cant afford the prescription". What kind of an adult professional says that to someone with chronic migraines and financial difficulties? When my wife told her she was being rude and dismissive, her attitude was basically "tough s*** sorry you feel that way". What a disgusting representation of the medical community. Needless to say we will never visit this office again. People like this are the reason the medical community in general has such a bad reputation. People who have no interest in helping patients with their problems really have no business working in a doctor's office. I used to run 25 to 30 miles a week and did this for about 8 years. Unknowingly at the time, my lumbar spine and hips took a beating. I received a lumbar spinal fusion in 2001, and had complications (lumbosacral root disorder, hip spine syndrome and arthritis). Those complications led to my falling and sustaining 5 concussions (post concussion syndrome) in the last 2 years, and using a walker and a cane for mobility. Dr. Eric Ericson is my neurologist. I selected him after researching his credentials, which are outstanding. We also share the same alma mater (Go Cats!) so I felt comfortable immediately with him. What I like most about him is he listens and is supportive. The brain MRI results enabled him to create a plan tailored to my needs. With all of the falls, I've developed PTSD and painfully intense hip problems, too. I'm receiving hip injections, physical therapy, and massage and psychological counseling. Some days I want to throw in the towel, but my care team and family have been so supportive that there is no way I could ever let them down. I'm still climbing the mountain to recovery and know it will be strenuous at times, but I'm in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Ericson and his staff because they not only know their stuff, but they really care. Yes, they care.
