But I'm kind of glad I bit my old dentist, because Dr. Herndon turned out to be one of the best dentists I've ever had! I was a patient of Dr. Herndon's for about 12 years. He is very gentle and apparently very good at what he does, because other dentists and hygienists I've visited since moving out of the area have commented on how amazing my fillings look. He always took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and also took the time to be personable, which I think is rare in the medical/dental field. I wish I still lived in the area so I could continue dental care with him. This small little mountain town is very lucky to have such a stellar dentist!

Today was an extraction of a wisdom tooth that has been going downhill for a few years. Over the past 3 years Dr Martin has done a hand full of extractions and implants for me. All teeth that started as cavities when I was a child (I am 65 now). Dr Martin is fast and as painless is is possible. Today a rotten wisdom tooth was removed in a matter of minutes, with zero discomfort at the time and very little several hours later. Dr himself called me this evening to followup. Dr Martin is exceptional at what he does, super nice, kind, and sensitive to my other medical issues to make sure that I am as comfortable as I can be (5 herniated discs in my neck). Oral surgery is never something one wants to go do, but Dr Martin makes it as pleasant as it can be. I doubt that anyone does it better - I think I've had 6 or 7 extractions and 5 implants done by him. The very best!

I had my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 at the same time, ouch haha) a few weeks ago and the care I received from the entire staff was top tier. My surgery went very smooth, aftercare was explained thoroughly, and billing was a very simple process. I was also quoted and paid a pretty low price, so that was a very nice bonus as I expected to pay much more. Post op follow up appt was optional and I opted out initially as I thought my recovery would be easy. I was wrong (sadly haha), and in some pretty good pain still about a week post op, which isn't super typical for WT removal. I made a quick phone call to the office and was scheduled the very next day for a follow up just to make sure no dry socket or anything awry was happening. I was reassured everything looked good and just needed to give it some more time. Thankfully now I feel great - just harder healing process because I'm "old" to be getting my WT out ;) I should mention that aftercare (visits, meds, etc) post op was included in the price of the treatment. I was urged by all staff to come back if/when needed and it was nice to feel like I wasn't being burdensome. I even got a check in the mail for a refund for part of my treatment because my insurance covered more than anticipated - really refreshing to see such honest bookkeeping! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Antrobus, he is wonderful. He answers any and all questions and really makes patients feel comfortable. I would come back for any further oral surgery needs!

The procedure went by in like 30 minutes, I didn't really feel a thing. I also received great after care when I had concerns, and I am now mostly healed up. Over the 10 days and 3 general dentists visits it took before I finally came to Dr Falke I'm not sure how many times I shattered dishes against the wall and chased my wonderful boyfriend who was just trying to help out of room. After trying to get in with more than a few oral surgeons that were at least 2 weeks out I got Dr Falke's office and the very nice receptionist said she could fit me in the next day (never could have imagined I'd jump for joy to get a dentist appointment.) After a traumatizing experience having a wisdom tooth pulled I was terrified to have another big molar extracted. But Dr Falke and his staff were so kind and patient with me it really helped take the edge off. Dr Falke has the BEST bedside manner...like the perfect balance of warm and casual, and confident and very skilled. I was surprised how quick he got that big tooth out. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Dr Falke that same day to see how I was doing and if I had any questions or concerns. Was told that during my consultation x ray and everything was covered cause it was to get everything prepared for surgery. Oh boy was i sure wrong get a text message for 95$ lol typical scam dentist office HIDDEN FEE's & back door charges. But I will say the dentist was very kind and cool to my son I have no doubt that it would've went well. Just found a place that extracted it for 250$ cheaper and didn't have to poke my son he did the liquid anesthesia and we didn't have to wait over 4 months to do it. My son is recovering quite nicely and everything went smooth that's the way medical and dental care should be done to care for the patient not a money grab to buy that 2nd or 3rd home or investment property. Lol. Well if you want friendly staff in the back part of the office like the dentist and there assistant then go here you might have to pay a lot higher then other places.
