But I'm kind of glad I bit my old dentist, because Dr. Herndon turned out to be one of the best dentists I've ever had! I was a patient of Dr. Herndon's for about 12 years. He is very gentle and apparently very good at what he does, because other dentists and hygienists I've visited since moving out of the area have commented on how amazing my fillings look. He always took the time to make sure I understood what was going on and also took the time to be personable, which I think is rare in the medical/dental field. I wish I still lived in the area so I could continue dental care with him. This small little mountain town is very lucky to have such a stellar dentist!

I returned! 7 months later!…read more I came here two days ago to get my three wisdom teeth removed. Once again Dr. Appelblatt and her crew entire crew were amazing. They made me feel welcomed and cared for from conversations upon arrival to after care. I am extremely thankful and appreciate all of them who participated in my surgery before and once again! This time I went under IV Anesthesia. She was funny, sweet and reassuring. I remember glimpses of the sounds during procedure but nothing more. She got me in and out in no time! They sent me home with an awesome fabric ice pack head / face wrap which has been helping with my recovery and a little bag which consisted of my after care instructions and vanilla ice cream! (which they let you choose your flavor which I found as an adorable, simple and thoughtful little after care). The oral surgery went well! Still in pain but nothing from the normal! The after care as usual was amazing. She followed up with me a couple of hours later and then a couple hours after her follow up; going into the next day, the office followed up with me as well. I definitely can say this is the only place I will go to for any work around or in the basin, and it is the only place I recommend for extractions or oral surgery.

Today was an extraction of a wisdom tooth that has been going downhill for a few years. Over the past 3 years Dr Martin has done a hand full of extractions and implants for me. All teeth that started as cavities when I was a child (I am 65 now). Dr Martin is fast and as painless is is possible. Today a rotten wisdom tooth was removed in a matter of minutes, with zero discomfort at the time and very little several hours later. Dr himself called me this evening to followup. Dr Martin is exceptional at what he does, super nice, kind, and sensitive to my other medical issues to make sure that I am as comfortable as I can be (5 herniated discs in my neck). Oral surgery is never something one wants to go do, but Dr Martin makes it as pleasant as it can be. I doubt that anyone does it better - I think I've had 6 or 7 extractions and 5 implants done by him. The very best!

I did ask a couple of stupid questions that made him laugh. He is very busy and like most surgical professionals he doesn't have time to be our psychotherapist. I had my wisdom teeth removed (all 4 at the same time, ouch haha) a few weeks ago and the care I received from the entire staff was top tier. My surgery went very smooth, aftercare was explained thoroughly, and billing was a very simple process. I was also quoted and paid a pretty low price, so that was a very nice bonus as I expected to pay much more. Post op follow up appt was optional and I opted out initially as I thought my recovery would be easy. I was wrong (sadly haha), and in some pretty good pain still about a week post op, which isn't super typical for WT removal. I made a quick phone call to the office and was scheduled the very next day for a follow up just to make sure no dry socket or anything awry was happening. I was reassured everything looked good and just needed to give it some more time. Thankfully now I feel great - just harder healing process because I'm "old" to be getting my WT out ;) I should mention that aftercare (visits, meds, etc) post op was included in the price of the treatment. I was urged by all staff to come back if/when needed and it was nice to feel like I wasn't being burdensome. I even got a check in the mail for a refund for part of my treatment because my insurance covered more than anticipated - really refreshing to see such honest bookkeeping! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Antrobus, he is wonderful. He answers any and all questions and really makes patients feel comfortable. I would come back for any further oral surgery needs!

So we went on 12/16/2025 when we got there the price changed my portion $2,566.40 on the statement I told her I could not pay that what happened to the $1,500 as the highest. she told me that the person I made the appointment with was let go. I should have left then with the high jump in price. so she said let me see if she could get my daughter a discount she came back with another statement showing discount $80.30 discount $80.30 discount $ 300.00 for total $2,242.00. So I said to okay and paid we had traveled 45 min to get there. Dr. Falke came out 30 minutes later and said my daughter was very emotional. My daughter was wheeled after him crying crocodile tears and laughing at the same time. I was upset because there was no recovery time very strange I did like it. I told the nurse because he left 2 seconds later. Today 4/28/2026 I get a text from Dr. Falke's office saying I owe $307.40 So I called she said it was for anesthesia they billed insurance 45min and they paid 15 min so I owe for 30min of anesthesia even though they gave me some discount on the anesthesia. And put my daughter out literally 30 min later not 45min as a basket case for the next 20 minutes. I would never recommend him you don't treat people this way he tries to get as much money as he can. 4 teeth impacted- partially bony 2 impacted - completely bony with unusual surgical complication according to him more money.
