Our unit was looking for a new, updated patch design so we chose Aviator Gear, as it was one of the first options to pop up on Google. It ended in us never putting the product in full production and receiving a full refund. The process is fairly straight-forward. You send them an idea/drawing, the dimensions, and the material (PVC or Embroidered) so that their artists can create a production-ready product from their line. I sent them a professionally drawn render of our idea so they knew exactly what we wanted. They also ask you to suggest a date you need the product by. SUGGEST is the key word here; don't expect to receive your product for at least 2-3 months after it is approved. Here is why: - As mentioned in some other reviews, they seem to take your idea and run it through some sort of AI image generator, taking the creativity and quality out of the picture. Oftentimes the image they send you and the actual product look NOTHING alike. - Communications are very sparse and untimely. Their liaisons communicate over email and oftentimes don't respond for 4-5 business days and typically respond between the hours of 0000-0400 (CST). By the time you respond to them, you're waiting at least a week to move on to the next step. - For their product quality, they claim to have extensive experience with creating military patches that match the regulations employed by the DoD. We went through 7 different production artworks, mostly because they were not adhering to regulations or seemingly were disregarding the instructions I was giving them. Combined with the delayed email response times and you're looking at a pretty frustrating creation process. - Compared to their competitors (like Badass Patches), their pricing is up to $2.00-3.00 higher per unit for a lower quality product. At the end of the day, we DID receive a full refund, so that is why I am giving them a two-star review. However, the process is so untimely, I'd say you're better off using your time elsewhere and with a company that cares more about their products.

We just added $80 worth of salt to the system, which all drained out or just sat on the bottom. Unfortunately, Blue Water Island Group refused to come back and fix the issues until the final balance was paid, even though the work was clearly defective. They did eventually return to make the repairs, but by then, the pool had turned into a swamp, filled with debris and worms, and we still haven't even been able to use it. We just went to Ace Hardware and spent $70 more dollars on chemicals to try and get the pool clear. For our first pool, this has been a total nightmare.

The selection of jewelry as well as how it was displayed sucked me in. I couldn't believe the price points. I even made a comment to Kristen on how I couldn't believe how cute everything was (nothing tacky and gawdy) and how affordable. She said that being off St George St. and not directly on helps. I probably spent a good 20-30 minutes here talking to the owner about the area and also shopping. The jewelry was very reminiscent of Stella & Dot so I spent time trying items on. Kristen also offered her long mirror in her storage closet since I was too short to use the one on display. Lol There were also fair trade items, vegan handbags based out of New Orleans made out of cork! What amazed me were the items sold to benefit worthy causes such as the handmade greeting cards made by women in the Philippines to end human trafficking. I could've spent much more time here browsing but I had my husband in tow so it was out of the question. I HIGHLY recommend this shop for that unique gift. She texts me and lets me know that yes, the shirt order is indeed here and she's pulled me one in my size. First question: Are they really "Authentic Sports Memorabilia Specialists" as the store's subtitle says? YES! And then some! This is a store that has a ton of good stuff, and though some things can be quite expensive, like a signed Tom Brady helmet or jersey, which is expected, other things can be quite affordable to sports fans of the major sports. Still, the pennants (for sports teams in college and pro football, baseball, basketball, and hockey are available. I came close to buying the hometown Red Wings pennant, but I already had a large one, so settled on a, no surprise! Patriots one instead! If you're a sports fan, they carry just about any team's memorabilia in some form. I call upon the Yelp CM to go by and visit this one to find some Cincinnati stuff now that they have a good QB!
