I was greeted and helped throughout my entire shopping experience by an employee named "Steven". Señor Steven was super professional and friendly. Steven made my visit and shopping experience a wonderful one. With his help I purchased all the clothing that I liked and wanted. The store is always filled with nice merchandise of high quality and great prices. I also found three shirts from their clearance rack that were amazing deals! But overall, this mall has definitely seen better days. While the exterior doesn't necessarily reveal the level of aging, when you get inside the mall you noticed pretty quickly but this mall is likely on it's downturn. There are several closed, or seemingly closed stores, and most of the traffic seems relegated to a couple of the larger department stores like H&M and Belk. A lot of empty kiosks in the middle of the walkway with the rest of them being occupied by local vendors that didn't seem to be getting much business at all. And if teenagers are still headed to malls on Saturday's to hang out, this is clearly not the mall that most of the local teenagers here hang out in as the traffic was surprisingly light for a Saturday - I just realized that may appeal to certain readers of this review. Lol. Anyway, unless you are visiting a specific store in this mall as a destination, I would probably suggest finding one of Jacksonvilles bigger malls for a true mall experience.

The associate let me know it was at the back. I waited in the back by the sign, but didn't have anyone acknowledge me for roughly 10 minutes. The store is pretty small, but is pretty packed with items, but it was a little irritating that it took 10 minutes to come back and help me. Once the person scanned my order, it took about 5 minutes to grab my item from the back, unbox it, and then put it in a bag for me. The associate that helped me was friendly and nice.

Tory, especially has exemplified excellent customer service. I ordered some dresses online and missed the email notification to pick-up my order. They'll hold your order for up to 7 days. I went in after the 7 days and they still had 1 dress that wasn't returned but the 2nd dress was. Tory called Hot Topic corporate for me to ensure I would receive a refund for the 2nd dress and even gave me a coupon for waiting. While I don't necessary like shopping at this physical location, I'm glad it exists since it allows me to continue using the ship to store option (see tip) and the online selection is much larger than what's available at any Hot Topic store.
