I've been involved since 2000 when I used to play in the summer league with the other college soccer junkies back home for the summer. I've been a player in just about every division the league offers. Fresh out of college soccer and still have a few good years left? D1 offers a pretty high level. On the wrong side of 30 but still want to go in 100% for that 50/50 ball to get some aggression out? Try O30A/B. In charge of getting a team of random co-workers together because they finally realized softball sucks? D5 is your Huckleberry. The league can offer really specific and appropriate levels of competition, for me it's the best thing about it. I've lived in Austin for 7 years now and enjoy our men's league but it's not as well run, competitive, fun, and social as the Dallas league. In fact, I like it so much that I always stay on a roster so if I come in town once or twice a season, then I can get my regular Sunday game.

**** STAY AWAY FROM THIS LEAGUE **** - they have allowed our girls to get hurt by other players with no consequences. A busted lip, stepped-on finger (on purpose), possible broken wrist, shoving and pushing down and laughing at our girls. Last time I checked that's not what soccer is about, especially at 8-9 years old. - they've allowed ringers to be brought into the tournament. Bigger/older girls who have been playing on a premiere team. - due to either a glitch in the system or the league's malicious intentions, the time of our tournament was wrong. They didn't care and we had to forfeit. - the $250 tournament money ...gone, taken and kept by these thieves. - the director being rude to one of our parents having something serious to address, misinforming a coach about what's allowed/not allowed during tournaments and ready to physically fight another coach who was bringing issues to his attention. - referees, NOT refereeing by not calling infractions and linesmen not paying attention to the game by carrying on conversations with linesmen from an adjacent field. read more
