They open til late, so it's good for getting dessert or coffee after dinner. Great selection of bread, dessert, teas and coffees. I like their Swiss Chocolate Bun, it's full of chocolate and walnut goodness! Scoff it down with One Lime Iced Tea. It's a lime iced tea with one full cut lime included in the drink, hence the name. Now, I'm a iced tea-aholic and this is one addictive drink.

Ever since he took over the place & made it his own by changing the name & making top qaulity pizzas/kebabs it's been nothing less but perfection :D!! I love all the food at this place & have neverbeen dissapointed & that goes for anyone I've ever taken to eat here & my family & friends that have came over for a big pizza feed :D!! They have medium sized pizzas for about $6.50 - $12.00 which all taste great & fill you up & the selection is big enough for you to have to visit a few times to try all the different ones they have to offer:)!! My 2 all time favourites that i normally grab on the go is the Zaatar pizza for $2.50 which is very popular for breakfast for alot of my Lebanese friends or even as just a great tasting snack:) & the other one is Zaatar special $5.50 which is a healthy kebab you could say with zaatar spread, fresh mint, tomato, cucumber, olives & shallots :D!! He's also started making kebabs which I've never seen any Lebanese bakery do, they are so great tasting that there is no time for photos haha. Pretty sure it was on his mind before but i think the locals pushed him in the right direction after they kept asking if he did kebabs :)!! This place is by far my favorite pizza/kebab joint in the area, definately got my hooked :D!!!
The Boss baker at his best :)!!!
Tasty pizzas in the making :)!!!

But for those have been here before would know this is not your typical Chinese cake store. All the cakes are made and baked fresh everyday and you choose cakes from Trio Chocolate to Coke Cheesecake, Lychee Mousse to Tofu Panna Cotta. Their flavours are unique and innovative and what's amazing about his place is the owner (Ella; hence the name) undergoes continuous training to find new recipes! Business is tough so solely selling cakes is hard to sustain so for those peckish tummies, they also have instant noodles and other small side dishes to nibble! They also have an extensive cake menu for those that want custom cakes - Disney characters, Minions; you name it and they'll probably make it.

The bakery lady never seemed to mind us crowding there outside the shop, although I guess bringing in good business had something to do with it. I'm happy to say the bakery lady is still the same, and so is the shop in every way that counts. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in that she actually remembered me (considering I graduated quite a few years ago!)That's what makes a great local bakery, it's not that enticing buttery smell of the pastries (and pretzels) and fresh warm bread, but it that pleasant familiar feeling that will always bring me back. It's the little things that count. If you do happen to pass by this small corner of town, I do recommend trying the pretzels they make here. Even better, they're only forty cents a-piece. I was introduced to them in high school by an old school mate of mine and they are definitely something delicious to munch on while waiting for that ever-elusive (school) bus.

But he pronounced the Oregano very very weirdly so I had no idea what he was talking about. Anyway, long story short, had nothing to do on a Saturday morning so drove to this place and was gobsmacked. Haven't tasted anything quite like it before. Imagine having a kronought + pancake + maple syrup + red velvet together. Hard to imagine I know but yes it makes you go weird like that. They have other savoury stuff too! A family business, Oregano Bakery incorporates the herby goodness of zaatar with pizzas, wraps and hot breads for a zesty meal or snack. Lebanese pizza is already popular is many pockets of Western and inner city Sydney but Oregano Bakery is making headway in the suburban St George area. Combining authentic cuisine with coffee, pide and sweet buns is a sure fire way to keep the few tables on the footpath busy all day long. The business is expanding into the premises next door to continue its growth. Try the zaatar wrap with chicken (to rival any kebab or gourmet sandwich) and take some cinnamon rolls home for afternoon tea.
