The furnishing of the interior and exterior of the store is quite retro and the feels of raw-ness, but its just the perfect balance. I always seem to get a combination of some of my favorite items: red bean buns-not to be confused with their red bean "paste" buns, which are thicker and sweeter-, custard buns, egg tarts, plain polo buns, and taro polo buns. There's all range in price $1.00 ~ $2.00, and I definitely prefer their versions to the ones found in other shops as these ones are less sweet and more generous with filing. Also, please be on the lookout for their pre-close specials, where they bag a few assorted items for a hugely discounted price in late afternoon around 5-6pm!

Have it as a breakfast treat with some ricotta and jam and you'll smile all day. The croissants are good, too, as are the brioches. Look, if it's breadlike and you can bake it in an oven they do it best here. Their coffee is exceptionally good too. It's warm and welcoming, with tables and colouring materials for kids (it's popular with families). There are outdoor tables for smokers, or for sunny days. Staff are great, even in the face of cranky customers who don't know how to queue properly. Every visitor I've brought here adores it, and asks to go back.

Located on 'Bourke Street'.... duh.... (actually there's also one on Gardeners Road as well, hence this review but they are basically the same! It was a short drive away for such great service, food, and coffee. It's in a very industrial part of town so the views aren't great and the parking is a nightmare, but the place itself is fantastic. It's situated on a street corner with giant windows on either side and plenty of room inside. I had the Beef, Beer, Bacon, Potato pie, and a latte. The coffee was good, the pie was incredible, and the staff were all very friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Almost couldn't have asked for a better airport waiting experience :)
