I consider myself okay at tolerating spice but mild way too spicy to be considered mild in western standards, almost like hot. So be warned but despite that, I enjoyed the flavourful meal. Even though it was shredded flatbread, it tastes kind of like a fried rice. The cardamom tea was a nice way to finish and what you expect of a good chai. The puttu kothu is really interesting - it's like broken rice, stir fried with egg, eggplant, hot peppers and mutton pieces. It's spicy but I couldn't stop eating it! Even the "hot food" wasn't really being heated enough to keep food at a safe temperatures. Food is cold (lukewarm at best) when served. I persisted to order $6.49 curry special but I don't know if the server wanted to push out his old food not selling but he ended up selling me more food I wanted and charged $12.xx plus tax. At that price I got 1 non veg and 4 veg on rice. But they didn't even give me the salad advertised on the menu that's suppose to come with the meal. I didn't complain because I wanted to build a relationship with local businesses but after the fact with food poisoning, I have to write this. The spring rolls are very crispy and delicious. The food needs to be reheated at home as it cools down quickly.
