They capture the true beauty of a moment without being overly stylized or edited. Melissa just has an incredible eye for composition and lighting. I was completely blown away by the engagement photos and immediately booked VIVIDfotos again for my July 2025 wedding. I've received a set of preview photos from the wedding and cannot stop obsessing over them. They're stunning and I couldn't be happier. With VIVIDfotos you're also getting personalized service. A few weeks before the wedding we decided we didn't need 8 hours for our wedding shoot, and asked Melissa if she would allow us to amend the contract. She did so without hesitation and allowed us to credit some of the hours to a future shoot at no cost, even though it will be more work for her to set up her equipment all over again. As we learned with all of our vendors, Melissa is extremely busy and may be occupied with other things, so you may need to remind her of any particular needs the day of your shoot. We had asked for a change of outfit at our engagement shoot, and weren't sure about the protocol for this. We didn't bring it up until the end of our contracted time. She granted us extra time for photos in our 2nd outfits at no extra cost. HNL Studios...how can I even describe how God has blessed my husband and me by finding such an…read moreamazing business to handle our wedding photography/videography?   I initially found HNL Studios years ago through an old classmate of mine; I loved the style of her wedding photos and I wanted something similar for when I got married.  So I followed them on instagram.  Fast forward 4 years later and I got engaged.  I'm the type of girl who has had her dream wedding planned in her head since she was 6 years old and I just knew that I had to have HNL Studios to do photography/videography, so I literally contacted them and my dream venue within a week of getting engaged.  My husband and I got married exactly within a year of our engagement; during that time, Keshia and Charles made it almost effortless to plan our wedding.  They were always willing to answer any silly questions we had and we had great vibes during our planning meetings. Let's fast forward to the day of the wedding.  I have no idea how Charles and his team do it, but they made everything super easy and seamless.  The photographers and videographers know exactly how to direct the couple, wedding party, etc. especially when there are some super camera-shy people.  The videographers really know how to capture the couple's love story within a few minutes.  The photobooth staff was so professional and fun, it was such a big hit at the reception.  Not to mention the props are super fun!  Romeo Valentine was super great with emceeing/DJ'ing our reception - shoe game ftw!  Such a great team and professional staff! Fast forward to our gallery and wedding video reveal.  Again, I have no idea how they did it, but they managed to capture all the warmth and fun that we had on our wedding day.  It was so hard for me to pick only 120 pictures for our wedding album because so many of the pictures were spectacular and eye-catching.   I know that wedding photography/videography packages can be very expensive, but trust me, this was worth every single penny.  What's amazing about HNL Studios, is that weddings are THEIR THING.  The heart and intentionality that is put behind every wedding that they capture is evident in the quality of the photos and videos they produce. She is always checking on me to see if there's anything I need help with and with this pandemic, there have been many changes in plans for my wedding. :( But, HNL has been SUPER understanding and helpful. My fiance and I took our engagement photos in January and we LOVE how our photos turned out! It was exactly what I wanted and they captured both us and the beautiful scenery perfectly! I love that we get to know them (and vice versa) before the big day so we could both get comfortable around one another. There was an oversight on a relatively last minute addition I had requested and thought was approved by my wedding planning team + L'Amour. Though it was physically impossible to make up for it (the moment had already passed), I appreciate Eric's sincerity in trying to remedy the situation however possible. Reflecting back, the mistake could have been caught by multiple people involved, including myself, but life is too short to be upset about something that cannot be helped at this point in time. Ultimately, received a ceremony highlight video and many, many photos -- which I love and value so much. With the help of our amazing wedding coordinator, Karisa, we booked ARIA Studios on May 16, 2019. We were overjoyed that we got a professional photographer on such short notice and it was especially important to get these memories captured. Our wedding day came and I arrived at our venue. As soon as I stepped out of the car, Jess from ARIA Studios was there, snapping moments that I will remember for a lifetime. She was so kind and patient with my (now) husband and I (we are really not models). We loosened up with her gentle guidance and she even helped me convince my husband to get in the water for some photos. My mother's health declined quickly and so I asked for the photos of her from that day expedited, knowing full well that it might be an additional fee. I received the photos quickly and Mom was able to see them and enjoy them. Now our family will remember this day, my happiest day of my life, which I was able to share with my beautiful Mom. We have received all of our photos and Hubby and I could not be more happy with them. It's taking a lot of restraint not to be totally weird about it and print lifesize photos and put them all over the house. Kolby, Kash, Holly & Jessica all flew to Maui the day of our wedding. The were very professional and very easy to work it. Jessica was the main contact and she responded to emails efficiently. About 4 days after our wedding, Holly was able to email us a couple of preview photos while they worked on editing the rest. We chose the Fusion package (Cinema 8 Hour Package, Same Day Edit and Photo 8 Hour Package). I am so amazed by the quality of their work and am amazed by how fast they can edit the videos to show in the Same Day Edit. Throughout my friends wedding 6 years ago and my sisters wedding 2 years ago..many couples (about at least 10 that I can count on the top of my head) I know have chosen to work with Video 21. Many have said because they are the the nicest people in the universe and they are excellent in what they do. Trust me. I already knew Video 21 was going to be my videographer one day. on 11/10/12 I got married. I am SO not the type to be in front of the camera. On my wedding day...it did not feel like I was being videoed....(is that even a word). Davis and Janice were like friends coming over to see what was going on. They make you feel so comfortable you don't even have to worry about being camera shy. Their personalities are just pure addicting. When Toney and I met with Davis and Janice to discuss our interest...we ended up staying/talking for 2 hours! We just talked and got a feel of what we wanted on our day and they were very attentive. I am always and still EVEN after getting married..i keep up with their videos and they just know how to capture every moment perfectly. We used this videographer for our wedding. It was pretty basic without any frills…read more My complaint was, we were given a timeline of when the video would be done and it wasn't. When I called to follow up, they said a few more weeks. I didn't think nothing of it. When I received our video, all of our faces were edited so we all look like a horror movie and we are crying. Very immature and unprofessional, as well as vindictive. I did not call to complain. We all laughed about it. In hind sight it is very disturbing this company would do something for a wedding video. There are so many good videographers out there. I would highly recommend to seek others.
