This was my first professional photo shoot, and it went great! Catherine helped with outfit/look suggestions, and Luis had the patience to keep trying the shot until we got just the right lighting and expression and everything, and the humor to get me to laugh for real :) Will update once I get the photos, but from what I've seen on the camera preview, I have no doubt they'll be great!

Iris saves the day! We initially booked our family photo shoot for Christmas Day with another…read morephotographer. However, the photographer double-booked us and canceled on us the day before. We were so bummed! It was supposed to be our first family shoot in Hawaii, and we had planned this for months. I immediately went on Yelp and sent a mass message to photographers on the island. It was Christmas Eve, and I highly doubted anyone would book us last minute for Christmas Day, let alone respond. It was worth a shot. Iris was one of the photographers who reached out to us. She was very empathetic and understood our situation. She didn't try to upsell us or complicate things with numbers. We booked her on the spot. On the day of the shoot, Iris went above and beyond. We had two families in our group that included several children and a 6-month old infant. Iris worked patiently with us to get various poses and captured all the beautiful smiles.
