My husband and I went to Oahu for our babymoon and decided to do a maternity shoot to really soak in and be able to celebrate becoming first time parents. When I saw Emily's work, I knew immediately I had to book her. Her communication throughout the whole process was flawless. It was such a fun shoot. She gave us direction while still letting us really enjoy it all and be in the moment. Not to mention, she is the biggest hype woman! I don't know where to begin with Kiwan, the head of this company. Throughout our wedding, my husband and I regret having this company for our wedding video and photographer because of Kiwan. He lost the first half of our wedding video footage that his crew took, which was so heart breaking since this was our wedding. We wanted everything to look back on for our memories of our special day. He gave us the run around with everything. Kiwan was initially responsive and helpful prior to our wedding. Then two months after our wedding we didn't receive our wedding album and video. I sent numerous emails, phone calls, and text messages to ask him where everything was since we already paid for the package prior to our wedding in hopes to get what we paid for. He didn't respond for a while then when he did he kept giving us dates with when he would sent it to us, but he never did. We also asked for a refund and he kept trying to play the victim about how he didn't have money to pay for his bills and how he only had a few dollars in his account. That to me was personal and not business let alone not professional at all! We too, were needing money because of the whole pandemic and costs of living. At times, he wouldn't respond at all, and we thought he was just going to take our money and not refund us, which stressed us out. He even mentioned taking us to claims court because he thought it would be better to take it to court instead of dealing with it. After a few weeks, we finally made a deal that he could pay us monthly until he had paid us out. In the end, he did pay us back, but all the stress we had to go through wasn't worth it and fair to us. He sent us the wrong album of another couple's wedding, which I felt bad for them as well! Almost one year after our wedding... we received our album and our low quality made video that didn't capture everything we wanted or talked about prior to our wedding. Thinking about this makes me sad and frustrated. But, what is done is done. It's just upsetting how everything went down. We were a couple seeking company to capture our special day, and everyone in his crew delivered, EXCEPT for Kiwan. If he just did his job this would not have happened. I know we received our refund, which thank goodness we did but I honestly just wanted the footage from beginning to end of our wedding day because it was so memorable and priceless. I'm just lucky that my friends took a few videos prior to the reception for our keepsake. Overall, if you want quality photos, albums, and videos for your special event... I DO NOT RECOMMEND using this company and pay the extra for another. Hope this helps!

After text messaging Kiwan yesterday (multiple messages were sent prior, please look at previous review) Kiwan did text message back saying he sent an email with our wedding video in it. We did in fact receive our wedding video. 2 one being a highlight and the other a full wedding video. We are happy that we finally received it. So a recap, Kiwan and his team were friendly on the wedding day. Communication prior to wedding was good. We did receive our wedding pictures fast. After the wedding, communication was not so great on when we would receive our wedding video. Lots of promises we would receive it and it would get pushed to another date. But we are happy to have this closure, and to have our wedding video. I pray for Kiwan and his business, that you are able catch up on your work. I hope nothing but the best for your company. Just "having fun at the beach for our vacation". She recommended around 5 pm for lighting. When arrived at site, lots of rocks, over cast and not the nice bright mid day sun but late afternoon light, but last opportunity on island due to her availability. Felt rushed. Spent less than one hour for photos. It truly felt like she had somewhere else to be. Lack of patience with special needs child, barely interacted with us, cold, and very uncomfortable. Many opportunities to get natural shots of the children looking for shells and that was not done either. Children afterward complained that it was "weird" when taking individual shots because she did not help them feel comfortable. Pictures included, feet getting cut off, arms in awkward positions for children, and contrived poses. When she heard we were upset, she offered us a discount on another product. When we received those pictures, they were grainy and were sent in a soft envelope which caused two of the corners to be very bent. Our personal pictures turned out better than these. Terrible experience and would NOT recommend.

Update to my review... after I fulfilled my contractual obligation of cancelling my contract in…read morewriting, i was forced to sign a "cancellation contract" which was actually a gag order or non disclosure stating i wont tell anyone of their terrible business, before I could get the pictures that She claims was in exchange for the deposit she refused to give me. When my planner told her she cannot withhold goods that were already paid for, she then released the photos on her gallery, but added my first and last name on the gallery instead of just first names like it was previously set up. Bad business all around. I also learned that she threw her friend and secondary shooter (chyna elaine photography) under the bus and claimed she refused to give me any pictures because she didnt owe me anything since she wasnt under the contract. When in reality, it turns out Chyna Grant, was told by storm elaine photography NOT to take her watermark off the pictures, and NOT to submit any pictures, until after I had cancelled the contract. The second shooter was also told by this company that she could tag along for the engagement shoot and take pictures, and if i approve any, the secondary shooter may use it for her portfolio. This was not told to me at the engagement shoot. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER
