Called several times for the authorization and they claim they will get it done and never do. Do not trust her and do not go to her . She comes off like she cares but she really doesn't . Took months to get an appointment here and when I finally got there I waited forever. The so-called doctor rushed through the "exam" then told me I needed a colonoscopy and endoscopy. Gave me absolutely no insight to my problem, only warning me of dire medical consequences should it continue. Well, I got both the procedures a few weeks later and that was the last I heard from Dr, Cheshty until I complained to the head of gastroenterology at Northwell. The brought quick action in the form of emails and messages through the health portal. Again she warned of dire medical consequences, again offered no insight into the cause of my problem and told me to take laxatives. I hardly need a doctor to tell me laxatives will make me poop. So according to Dr, Cheshty I am to spend the rest of my remaining years using laxatives (which I can not believe would be good for my health.) Prior to the onset of the problem several months ago, I was as regular as a German train schedule. I'm not saying Dr, Cheshty is the worst doctor in the world, just the worst doctor I've ever visited. She lacks both empathy and compassion. My advice is to steer clear of this practice if Dr. Cheshty is typical of the practitioners there.
