I tried calling at first but there was no answer, so I went to their website and partially filled out the information request. After their last class concluded, I received a text message from Chuck. The message was very professional, polite, and informative. I had a brief conversation via text about what I was looking. Instead of trying to push a quick sale, Chuck took the time to see what MY schedule looked like and showed me sessions that would fit what I was looking for as well as my schedule. I decided I would give it a shot. They offer one "Free" session for you to try it out and several different packages to meet a wide range of price points. I arrived at the gym about 15 mins before the start of the 7pm session. I wanted to watch a little bit of the interactions and sign any waivers that were needed. Chuck was teaching and still took the time for a quick greeting, before continuing with his session. As the class concluded, I was able to get the paperwork filled out and was provided a loaner gi. I explained that I had zero knowledge of the sport. That didn't faze Chuck or the rest of the class at all. Everyone was friendly, laidback, and took the time to help me not just learn the steps but understand why they were there. There wasn't a moment throughout the entire experience that I was bored or wasn't laughing. By the end of the session, I was ready to sign up. There's a nice, small area with chairs on the other side of a windowed wall where parents and friends can sit and observe. The children's class we saw was about an hour long. They also offer teen and adult classes, too. We saw a classmate achieve another belt level -- and what he went through. It gave us an idea of what our grandson had to do to achieve his various colored belts and stripes. It was so nice to see the discipline of everyone; the respect given to the teachers. And the range of ages in the class. As others have said, these classes are not only for discipline and strength training, but also for building confidence.
