After talking to the seller, I found out we had offered the most but somehow Sharon convinced them to take a lower offer because it was being handled by her son. Pretty shady. I'm wondering how many other times she's done that. The owner also asked me why I didn't want the hot tub and I said I didn't know that was an option and he said, "She was supposed to reach out to your relator." After paying $1,500 between a home inspection, and bank fees, as well as having our $2,000 deposit sent to Howard Hanna, the seller (and their realtor, Patti Thayer) backed out of the sale for a cash offer. While representing the seller, Patti Tayer intentionally, knowingly and unethically mislead us. I reasonably believe Patti intentionally delayed attorney approval from the seller's attorney to circumvent the bump clause in the contract. Patti Thayer did not act in good faith or ethically. I would advise anyone doing business with Howard Hanna to exercise caution. In fact, I would recommend not using Howard Hanna (specifically Patti Thayer) in any sale or purchase of a home. If you are purchasing a home, and the seller is represented by Patti Thayer, do not expect an ethical experience.

She was very knowledgeable regarding what was needed. She went to stores and selected items (lighting, flooring, etc.) and found installers and over saw the improvements. After those changes, offers started coming in. Lynnora arranged for a person to come and trim and down trees that were dying, trim shrubs, clean up areas, and mow the lawn.
