Gene restored the front end of my 2016 Ford Fusion Hybrid when I'd bought it from a dealer and it had an undisclosed accident. He worked with me to stay within my budget and communicated every step of the way. When I was ready to have more work to restore it a year later, he didn't hesitate, staying in my budget. When the car had mechanical issues that were outside his scope? He referred me to his dad's garage up the way who treated me just as kindly and helpfully. This year I brought him my moms old Suzuki after she got in a fender bender. He searched high and low for comparable parts (they weren't made anymore) and did a fantastic job and kept things in budget. Can not recommend Gene and his crew highly enough. Will always refer, and will always be a loyal customer now.

I had taken him a couple of bumpers for him to paint and the result was very disappointing…read more The bumpers had heavy orange peel as for whatever odd reason a wet sand and polish was not included in the $850 price of his work. He also did not paint the backsides of the bumpers I assume to save a couple bucks and while it may not bother some people it's now in the back of my mind and I will have to do the process my self. Other things I noted from this brand new panel was how light the clear was and the fact that there were particles trapped in the paint. During transport I laid the panels on top of each other separated by a piece of cardboard and somehow the top panel had some of the paint rubbed off. It is also incredibly easy to scratch this bumper. Once again Mr. Howell is a very nice man and if you have unrelated work to painting I would give him a call but otherwise I would probably stay away.

When I first contacted Joe…read morePatterson at Auglaize Auto Body in Wapakoneta I was very excited about getting our 1979 VW Super Beetle to him. He gave us a reasonable price to fix up our car. When we dropped off the car on April 8, 2018 his estimate to complete was 21 days. We paid $2752.50 which is 1/2 the cost for the deposit. I would call every so often to see how it was going on my car. Sometimes he would respond, but most times not. After some time went by I realized he was lying to me. I put in pictures to show the quality of work he does or does not do. I finally get the car back from him and I can not open the trunk and missing multiple parts. I also have a huge dent in the passenger door that was not there when I dropped it off to the shop. I would not take anything to this shop to be worked on. Did I mention Joe had this vehicle for almost two years. I got it back March 30, 2020. You would think working on someone's car for that long the quality of work would be impeccable. You can see for yourself that it is horrible.
