This week I'm updating this review to say we had to take red car back to RCE after a symptom returned and we feared its previous repair wasn't adequate. RCE (this time Randy) and his tech spent a good amount of time analyzing and assessing and had a couple of long discussions with me before and after to explain everything. They didn't charge us because the symptom was related to its earlier saga. We feel more confident than ever RCE will take care of us.

The accident was covered by our insurance so we took it to Burton's Kreative Motorwerks because of the suggestion of a co-worker (not knowing the co-worker was his brother). Contacted the shop and took a look at their work...nice custom work they had going on inside. They took about a week to fix the vehicle which wasn't bad but that was the best thing about having them work on our baby. Our vehicle was fixed sub par. Paint didn't match and the vehicle made noises and they replaced the parts with sub par parts. Called the place to complain but NO ONE returned our calls. Never again will they see another one of our babies. WARNING...do not go to them for any repairs, take your baby back to a dealer for accident repairs.

They pulled his truck in around 9:30 and called him shortly before 10 and told him the truck was ready and it's going to be $401! They did tell him while he was waiting at the shop that they were going to cut his old ones off and he said that was fine. Never told him while he was there they charge additional for that, which is fine. When we picked the truck up, claim they had to use 2 guys so it's $125 per hour per guy so total was $401. Kevin came out and did cut the cost down for him after I told the hateful lady to take them off. Beware of this place! They are shady and will charge additional to what they quote you! The owner reached out a few days later saying they did charge him $125 to put on his new running boards and they had to cut his old ones off which caused the added charge lol. Guess they charged $276 to cut old ones off. Who knows. The story changed with these people from the day of service to current. Very shady business!!!! I'd look elsewhere. This place is not worthy of a 1 star!
