Excellent customer service and workmanship. I'm a full-time RVer, who managed to snap both pull cords on my portable Honda gennies. It being August, they're a must-have for running the AC. I had a planned 3-day stop in nearby Redmond, so searched DDG for 'small engine repair' in Bend. I did a walk-in at mid-day on Mon and explained my situation. I was promised both units back by Wed, but instead, I rcvd a msg later that very afternoon letting me know they were ready. In addition to the requested work, they also performed much-needed oil changes. In summary, the shop may be a bit hard to locate, but the price and workmanship were well worth the trip. My generator was leaking gas. I dropped it off one day and got a txt first thing the next morning that it was all tuned up and the leak was fixed. Friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. . I will definitely use Gary's again. read more

Great same day service. My repair was minor and I know most repairs can't be done in the same day. That said, dropped off the item at 8:30 am and they made the repair by 4:00 pm and the costs was far less than expected. Give these guys a call. read more

Randy and his staff have worked on my Honda Lawnmower for 12 years and now my used Craftsman Snowblower that I purchased a month ago. The snowblower required a new carburetor and tuneup and I will state that their prices, workmanship, and completion of work on time was fair and honest. My neighbors call my snowblower A MONSTER! Total crap service. They dont give you anything in writing when you get your mower serviced so they can make up the price later! I was told it was $15 for diagnostic and it applied to repairs. Nobody ever called to okay more than $15 and when i went to pick up my mower, they charged me $54! When I complained, their response was that they could take all the parts off if I wasnt happy. dropped off on wednesday and they said they would call Friday. No call on Friday, No call on Saturday. They did call on Monday to say my mower was done, with no mention of the fee's. Do not take your garden equipment there. Absolutely the worst small engine repair I have ever worked with. It sounds like Scott B's experience pretty much mirrors my own experience. My generator was there over a month, no communication and when I called the first time about it, pretty much got smoke blown at me. I called again a couple weeks later. I will admit, by then, I was pretty angry. More excuses. And since I was not a regular customer, I got moved to the back of the line. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have known Randy for many years now and he has done some excellent work on whatever piece of equipment I brought him. He has done several ride on lawnmowers, backpack blower, chainsaw, weed wacker and has even come out to my property and fixed the motor on my wheel line. Gary did a great job replacing my carburetor on my Honda generator. Now it runs great.

Forget the negative crap spewed by others, these guys are the genuine article. I have been here twice now with two different pieces of equipment, a chipper and my small rototiller. I thought I broke the engine in the chipper when a small piece of wood suddenly stopped the engine. I cleared out what I could get to but when I tried to start it, it sounded like a broken rod or something. These guys took it apart, cleaned it thoroughly and had it running in less than an hour. They charged me about $30. My tiller they tried to repair the carburetor but Troy Bilt stuff these days are just POS and I had to order a new carburetor. Their prices are fair, their service is first rate and very responsive. Personally, I LOVE the "hillbilly-good-ol-boy attitude" it's the way Bend used to be where things were done on a hand shake. read more
