The best. I didn't want to believe the hype. I figured a greasy burger would be good but this was even better. Huge. Cheesy. Fresh. Quality ingredients. So so good. We went twice and thought about going again in the airport. We went early because I was nervous they would sell out. The wait wasn't bad, with limited options the line moved quickly. We got cheese burgers, fries, and lemonades. Sat outside at a picnic table and devoured our food.

Great burger! I got this after running to a nearby apotek and it really hit the spot when I was a little sick. Such a cool vibe, outdoor gas station window. Fries and lemonade also hit the spot. 10/10 junk food in Copenhagen

We went to a location with a bunch of other food vendors, but gasoline grill had the longest by far! We stayed in line and it was worth it. I highly recommend getting the burger exactly how they make it with no modifications. You can taste the freshness! I recommend going on off peak hours so you have less of a wait. Good food and good vibes! Definitely a place tourists want to try, for a good reason.

After a disappointing experience at another location, I found out that Gasoline Grill is franchised and that I should check out the original location. I'm so glad that I did because this one lived up to the hype. I ordered the butter burger and a side of fries. The burger was cooked perfectly with a gorgeous pat of butter on the patty and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Service was friendly and fast with my order ready in about 7 minutes. Outdoor communal seating is available to eat your food fresh and they provide a wet wipe for your hands after eating.

As an American, I didn't find anything special about the burgers. The ingredients were high quality and the menu items are simple and well executed but nothing was super memorable or worthy of the high prices. When handing me my order, they forgot my drink and the condiments I payed for, so make sure to check the bag before leaving. Wait times when I went on a Friday night was around 20 minutes to order then another 10 minutes to get the food but you can just place an order online and pretty much pickup instantly upon arrival. Worth a try but overall not worth all the hype.

The search for the world's best burger definitely continues, but makes a pit stop here at the Gasoline Grill (yes an actual functional gas station). This has catapulted into the top three easily. I wasn't even *that* hungry, but a once meticulously planned itinerary for my days in København was totally kaputt... anyway I found myself in the area between 15:00-16:00 and came here to eat. (Keep in mind google suggested it was "very busy" but there was nobody queue'd up when I was there) The burger is delicious. Must be the petrol they use to grill with. I'm joking I'm joking please don't cancel me. The fries are also good but holy moly I hope you haven't had salt in a while. Some picnic seating, but feels more like a take-away place. If I'd eaten here my first day, I'd likely have come back every day for lunch.

Really good burger. Got the butter burger and lemonade which are both close to 5 stars. Also had the fries and were underwhelmed. Really good quality potato but not really seasoned and that was with paying extra for truffle salt. Killer Kebab a few doors down had better fries. Also the line was long and slow moving so PRO TIP - order online instead if 7-10 people are in line ahead of you.

    Smallish but pretty good burger

If you crave a burger this is a decent place. Fries are also pretty good. A bit expensive and servings are on the small side. They can run out of food by the end of the day, so you might get there and no meat for you. No inside seating - it's just a small stand, but you can fuel up and or charge your car at the same time right there.

    The combo.

This is a fast food hamburger chain in Copenhagen serving organic beef and fries. It is really tasty for a fast food burger place. The Gasoline sauce with the fries is really good too. The fries are seasoned with the right amount of salt to make them super tasty. The place does deserve its reputation. If you are into burgers, check this place out in Copenhagen.

What. A. Find. We first learned about Gasoline Grill from Phil Rosenthal. All of the food is organic and fresh. And the burger is super juicy and filling. You can taste the butter oozing off of the bun! One fries is definitely enough for two. If I were a local, I'd frequent Gasoline Grill all the time!

Every element in this cohesive burger adds something to its final flair. Easily among the top 3 best burgers I've tasted. The original really show cases the genius of the chef who is as wise about what is not added as what goes in. Brilliant experience albeit a tad cold even while huddled under the overhead heaters. Fries are pretty normal. Go for 2 burgers.

As an American I take burgers very seriously and Gasoline Grill was AMAZING. I found it from Somebody Feed Phil and really enjoyed my burger. Throughout our one-week Copenhagen trip I ate here twice. The meat is so juicy and hot, and everything tasted really fresh.

Tasty burger on a cold wet night! Finding a dry place to sit outside to eat was a challenge though.

The staff love to close at 7pm, then shrug when you pass by as they eat burgers inside.

Yup, this is one of my all-time favorite restaurants in Copenhagen!…read more I will try to keep this short and sweet, because if I start raving on, there's probably no stopping me. I've lived in New Orleans for a while, and I've been on the lookout for a place with great Southern food (House of Souls is another great address for that, btw), and I'm so, so glad that Alabama Social is here to fulfill all my cravings for hot wings, jerk chicken, and cornbread! The hot wings definitely deserve a special shout-out; as do the fries, which are just perfection, served with creole mayo. Their menu changes regularly, and they're recently started serving Po' Boy sandwiches for lunch, which I'm eager to try. Staff has always been friendly and attentive, and I'm personally a huge fan of both the location by the lakes and the interior with dark wood and open kitchen. Bottom line is, I cannot recommend this place enough, and I wish I could eat there every day (and not get fat)!

My wife's colleague suggested we try this place. Why would Americans go to an American restaurant…read morein Denmark? Because it is good. We ordered three course tasting menus, getting six different items between us: a biscuit with pulled pork and a biscuit with pulled beef for appetizers, brisket and baby back ribs for entrees along with sides that included French fries, slaw, and cornbread, chocolate and coconut sundae for dessert as well as a butterscotch pie. I also got a drink called a Harley Davidson which is their take on an old fashioned. The biscuits were smaller than a good ol American buttermilk biscuit, but stood up nicely to the pork and beef. The pork had a nice texture and a tasty Asian slaw, but there was way too much mayonnaise on top. The beef was also a nice texture but I was missing bbq sauce. The brisket entree was a small portion of tender beef topped with onions and some herbs. It wasn't quite bbq, almost more like corned beef. The ribs were charred and spicy. The overall texture and flavor was similar to Chinese spare ribs in some ways. The portion was rather generous compared to the brisket. The side dishes really stole the show. The corn bread was spot on and the accompanying sweet and spicy butter brought it to a new level. The French fries had a good texture and weren't over salted. The slaw was not mayonnaisey. It was an Asian style slaw with a light dressing. My wife asked for an extra order to go she liked it so much. Dessert was a mixed bag. The chocolate and coconut ice cream sundae was well-composed but a little gun shy on the flavors. The butterscotch pie was actually a salted caramel pie, delicious, with a buttermilk ice cream that wasn't much to my taste. Service was good and friendly. The atmosphere was approachable and unpretentious.

Got here around 6 Friday night and it was quiet but within a few minutes it got busy. (30 minutes wait for food) You order at the counter and when I asked what is recommended? Answer- the Bofsandwich (award winning) or the Flaeskestegsaandwich (Pork-the Classic). I decided on award winning. Ordered with gravy on the side & no fries cause the nice lady at the counter mentioned it's a hearty sandwich. Paired it with a Vulcano Classic (dark) which was pretty good. The interior of the restaurant isn't very big/is cozy and has a fun vibe/rustic feel with pig statues, pictures, random Polaroid pics and various memorabilia & books used for decoration. Now for the sandwich. It is huge! The beef was cooked a perfect medium & was topped with a relish and fried onions & there was a beet relish (takes it to another level!) on the bottom & the bread had baked in-house qualities. The gravy was tasty and great for dipping & you will need a fork & knife. Open only 4.5 hours a day so business must be great. Classic Danish sandwich and comfort food with great service!

Grisen just went all in and looted your grandmother's country house, displaying one absurd item after the other. Being a bit of a hoarder myself I can't help being very much in awe of this place. Fantastic! We ordered the flæskestegssandwich, bøfsandwich+egg and fries with mayo. The service was super friendly and the food came out in no time. I experienced instant regret when I saw my bf's sauce glazed bøfsandwich come out of the kitchen. Alas, I had committed to the flæskestegssandwich and unfortunately found it just OK. It had good size, the pork was tender, but without much flavour and the red cabbage was too sweet for my taste. But I'm happy that Denmark is finally embracing the brioche type of bun and this one was delightful. The fries were crispy and the homemade mayo I could eat with a spoon if nobody was watching. The bøfsandwich received much praise from my companion, so I will definitely come back again to try that one. At some point my bf happily exclaimed: "Ah, I feel like I'm in America!", meant to be taken as a compliment. I would recommend everyone to come here if only to enjoy the atmosphere and marvel at the riches.
