I would highly recommend Gasper Roofing! From start to end a great experience. They throughly communicated throughout the process and promptly came out on the scheduled day and knocked out the repair. Before Roof Repair I have a rental property in Browns Mills NJ and live out-of-state. This can make any needed repairs very complicated and somewhat of a hassle. Initially, I was referred to use another company, however, they were very unresponsive and didn't seem to have time for me. I called Gasper and was able to talk with a person the same day. They did tell me that with the recent storms that they were backed up a little, but they could come out within the week. They ended up calling me on my appointment day and due to the weather that they would have to reschedule. They were able to quickly book me another appointment for the next week. After the initial inspection of the home, the gave me a breakdown of the concerns and some options to getting it fixed. They gave me a list of dates that they could come out and let me schedule the one that work best with my tenants schedule. Roof Repair The called to a day before to verify that the repair was still happening. The morning of they called to let me know they were there and working. During the repair there were some additional concerns found while removing the roof and the quickly called to let me know and to see how I wanted to proceed. They quickly got the extra materials needed and finished the job. Pricing I got similar quotes from two other companies. Gasper Roofing offered two separate discounts. Gasper Roofing installed my roof a year ago. I have had some post unexpected issues with my chimney. I have contacted them on several occasions. There response has been prompt. As a customer I have to remember that they are a professional company and weather and other obstacles may prevent them from expected turned around times. They will be there. Honest employees work there. I do not have to be home. Yeilin was able to connect me faster via text whereas emailing me worked but I am not as responsive. Thank u Yeilin. I am very pleased with the work done by Gasper roofing on my roof and second floor covered-balcony porch. I had two of my roofs, that had only a slight slope, replaced because of on and off leaking. They were changed from shingles to single sheet on the good advice of Gasper. The porch also had to be changed because leaves and water accumulated between the roof and its floor causing leaking. The project manager was very knowledgeable and I have had no leaks since this work was done. All the people who worked on the roofs did very high quality work and every detail was done to the highest standard. They were also easy to reach while the project was being done which was important because an unexpected storm was due and the came to cover the roof early the morning before it started to rain. They were happy to explain why and what they were doing the construction and welcomed and addressed any concerns I had. Everyone working with Gasper Roofing was very friendly and respectful. I am super impressed with these guys in every aspect possible. They not only do great work and know what they are doing and they take extreme care in taking care of your home as well. They are great people who are knowledgeable, do a great job, and live up to their reputation! My husband met with a few roofers on a previous roof job for another home and that did not go well. Gasper was one of the roofers he met with and they were the second runner up due to their price. For our new home we decided to go with Gasper and our experience was so pleasant. They are license roofers that use premium underlayment, ice and water shield as well as starter strips to protect your roof. They also installed pipe flanges which protect the pipes as well as crickets around the chimneys. They do a great job in protecting your house as they take off the old roof. I am thankful for the extra care they put into protecting my garden and bay window as well as the bushes. My neighbors also commented that the roofers seemed to take good care of the bushes as they took off the old roof. All the employees were very pleasant and the job was completed in a day as promised. They are also upfront and honest. Their cost is slightly higher than others but in life you get what you pay for. Unlike previous contractors we dealt with they did not pressure us to make a down payment upfront. They are indeed a great team and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer in the area. read more

Gasper Roofing came out to my friends house 01/12/2019 to put on a new roof. They were there on time , the crew did a fabulous job on her roof. John the foreman stayed the whole time explain any questions I had about the roof. They cleaned up everything in the front yard and in the backyard and around the deck even clean the gutters on my friends house plus their neighbors. Highly recommend Gasper Roofing to do your roof. They replaced the flat roof above our kitchen a couple years ago and now we just used them again to replace our garage roof and complete a repair on the main roof. Will was our sales representative. $200 for Basically... Nothing So, when it rained again, guess what. The roof leaked just as bad. If Mike did not know where the leak was, he Should have just said so. If Gasper wanted to charge for an inspection they Should have just said so. Also, I never got an answer why Mike thought the roof, even though I asked to be emailed. Once again, $200 for basically... Nothing.Sorry to say what seems like great service is not. We developed a leak in the roof but unfortunately most of roofers I spoke with were only interested in whole roof jobs. However, when I contacted Gasper, they could get someone over in a few days. Sounded great.The wife was home when "Mike" stopped by to inspect the roof. I had traced the leak in the attic. Removed the insulation so they could see everything. Mike had inspected everything according to the wife and asked for $200 to repair several cracked tiles and holes from nails popping up. Also, according to the wife, he had said the roof was replaced incorrectly 19 years ago.When I went on the roof to inspect (which I hate to do) the cracked tiles and nail holes were not near the leak. I mean the tiles were to side and lower that the point of the leak. The popped-up nails were on the top ridge of the roof, the leak at the very bottom. How do I know this? They've been super responsive when I've reached out to them for a quote and actually show up when they say they will (seems harder and harder to find contractors that do this). I had what I thought was a roof leak. I contacted Gasper about roof repair. The rubber roof I have isn't even near the end of its life 25-50 year life expectancy. After a week, Gasper sent someone for an estimate. Almost another week passed before I was able to contact him. He wouldn't return calls and the Gasper office didn't help. Eventually, I was emailed a proposal for an entire roof replacement. After that, I repeatedly emailed and called the Gasper representative asking about the roof damage, but he never replied. Actually, THERE IS NO ROOF DAMAGE. Later, a responsible roofer went up and really inspected the roof, finding that the leak was caused by damage to the top front wall, not the roof. Gasper was trying to sell me a $5,000 new roof that I didn't need and I was still going to have the same leak as before, unfixed. I read reviews that Gasper does good work. That may or may not be true; but from my experience, they're at best incompetent or at worst irresponsible thieves! read more

I was told upfront that they needed half of the money upfront for a deposit. I signed the contract and gave them my credit card info . They charged my card for the deposit and I was told hey would charge the balance to my card once the work was complete. They completed the project a couple days later and I saw the charge to my card for what I believed to be my balance. Several months have gone by, and they are now harassing me for more money. They keep saying I owe more of a balance. I have provided proof of both charges to them. Yet they still keep sending me invoices with late fees. They have my credit card info. They were responsible for charging the CORRECT balance when the work was completed. Clearly, someone at their office screwed up and charged the wrong amount. The work they did was fine, but someone in accounting needs to be fired. And customer service is seriously lacking because of the way they are handling this. read more

Gave me quote for materials and labor. Said it was hard quote that included EVERYTHING. Halfway through job, said he under estimated on materials and needed more money. When I questioned him he showed me fine print on contract saying he reserves the right to charge more for materials, and threatened to stop work with loss of deposit. Not a good experience. read more
