If I could give them 10 stars I would. For starters, he showed up for a free quote when he said he would. Great communication about his ETA which was the first good sign since the 4 previous roofers no call/no show. The quote was super comprehensive and I understood exactly what my options were, what the work would be and the cost. His quote included video and pictures since I don't know WHAT my roof looked like. I was scheduled for next available and they showed up early on a Saturday. The guys were super courteous, kept me updated and cleaned up all the gunk that came off the roof after they were done. Nanci handled my payment over the phone and was super personable. There turned out to be a reason Rob's prices were cheaper than everyone else's: after multiple rounds of misdiagnoses and purported fixes, the roof leak stubbornly persisted. We ultimately brought in someone else, who replaced all of the rubber waterproofing on the rooftop. A year after that fix, the leak has not returned. Rob did do a lot of work for us that probably needed to be done (even if it didn't fix the problem we were most worried about). He was also quite responsive whenever we called. But overall, it would have been less expensive to go with someone who would have done the job right the first time, even if they charged a little more. read more

The level of professionalism he shows is rare these days, and appreciated. He's a person of his word, and is quick to return phone calls and respond to text messages. The quality of work is 5 stars across the board, and he sends pictures so you're not left guessing, wondering, and HOPING the job you paid for was actually completed. I'm relieved to have finally found a roofer I can trust. I've used Rob Nolfi Roofing for all of my roofing work over the last few years. From fixing leaks to installing new gutters, they were always on time and professional, and did great work that they stand by. Because of the angle of the roof, the gutters weren't as straightforward as we would have thought, but Rob and his team were able to identify a solution and make it work. And they've repaired leaks on very short notice, which is always a relief when water is coming into your house. Their rates are quite reasonable as well. Rob Nolfi's website says that they guarantee their work for 12 years. I purchased a new rubber roof from them in January, and it didn't even last one week without leaking. After blaming the issue on residual moisture, then on masonry, Rob tried a couple things to fix the leak, but when they didn't work he shifted the blame back to masonry issues (which we had already addressed) and stopped trying to help. It is interesting how he said that the issue was clearly that we needed a new roof before we hired him, and then after his work didn't fix our problem he shifted the blame to anything but the roof. I give one star since I still have a leak in my roof after 3 months, but Rob guarantees his work for 12 years. This guarantee clearly means nothing. read more

When they came to do the work yesterday, I was able to continue working from home with no disruption. I called Rob to come check out a roof leak that I had. He was quick to respond and made his way over on Labor Day. Since the only issue was that a few nails were popping on the roof cap, he fixed it and went ahead and waived the service call fee. A few rain storms later, no issue. Just had a new roof put on along with rebuilding the curb for my air conditioner. It is a tough roof on a small street plus he had to coordinate with my HVAC guy. He was extremely professional, reasonably priced, punctual, and did a great job. He is a perfectionist and very honest. Rob is incredibly unprofessional and not a good roofer. Shortly after purchasing our home, I found out water poured down the back of our home every time it rained. I was able to track down Rob and he attempted to fix/ repair the leak with excessive amounts of caulking. It didn't work, so he decided it to blame it on anything but the roof. Robs poor craftsmanship cost us THOUSANDS of dollars and we ultimately hired another roofer (Angie's List Premiere) to fix it for us. They let us know how poor the quality of work was and couldn't believe someone paid for it. I highly recommend selecting a top rated roofer over Rob... He even puts a note on his contracts that says he's "not responsible for interior damage" - great sign for someone fixing the roof over your head. read more

We have now had Rob and his team do work on two properties. He and his team are clearly very busy, but they are responsive when it comes to coming out to give estimates and the work is very reasonably priced. The first job they did for us involved re-coating a roof on what is now a rental property. This required working around leaky skylights and ultimately installing a new gutter after the new coat redirected some water. We haven't had a problem since. More recently, they completely redid a roof on our residence, taking it down to the first layer and hauling off two tons of material before installing the new roof. We are extremely happy with the new roof and so appreciative for the hard work and professionalism that made these projects relatively painless for us. I was referred to Rob Nolfi by Bobby from Bobby Z's Plumbing and Heating who happened to be in my home doing some work at the time a leak developed in the roof over my office. The leak had supposedly been fixed by the previous owners a few months ago but obviously the work was not done properly. My call was answered promptly and Rob was able to send some of his men out to evaluate the damage and provide me options. Fortunately, the roof itself was still in good condition so we were able to install shingles over the shingles already in place to save money. Although they were extremely busy at the time they came out to look at the roof and informed me it would be several days before they would be able to do the work. They kept their word and kept me informed as to when they would be there to install the new shingles. Rob's men were courteous and arrived within the agreed upon time frame and did excellent work. The roof looks great and the works seems to be of high quality. The most important thing is the roof no longer leaks. In the meantime additional leaks developed on my main roof (to be clear, not the front office roof that is now brand new) and I am planning on having Rob Nolfi Roofing do that job as well. Rob and his team are amazing from his wife Nanci who handles the calls on. I came upon Rob while researching for roofers. I had him on my list to call but went with another roofer before calling him (biggest regret ever!) Those roofers caused more issues than I was already experiencing within just a couple of months, gave me the run around and then were nowhere to be found to come follow up on their work. I called Rob Nolfi Roofing upset about the dilemma I was now in due to crappy work being done. Nanci was so calming and assuring that Rob would try his best to be of assistance. Rob called me within a couple of hours and set up to come assess the issues I was having personally the next day and promised to be as cost efficient as possible. Rob and Nanci were both very apologetic about the situation I was in due to a horrible roofer. Rob came to do the estimate the next day as promised and immediately noticed one of my issues around my drain box getting out of his truck. Rob was so kind and pleasant. Rob even made some quick fixes he saw that were needed right then and there before we even discussed what would be needed and whether or not he would be hired. Impressive! Upon entering my home he even voluntarily took off his shoes not wanting to track my floors. I told him he could keep them on but he refused to leave a trail and said there's no way he could mess up such nice floors. While inspecting the roof he was sending me pictures. After going on the roof we discussed what needed to be done to correct my issues and repair the poor workmanship from causing future issues. Rob really kept the price as low as he could and assured us that he would be out immediately if there were any problems after it. He told us to take our time to decide what we wanted to do because he didn't want to force work, let alone an additional expense after we just had the roof done 3 months prior on us. Rob was even willing to make a payment arrangement which most businesses are not willing to do. The way he runs his business is exceptional and hard to come by. It was a no brainer that he was hired! Rob let us know that his team would be out by 8AM the next morning. That morning he even texted me a couple of hours earlier to verify that they will be there at that time. The team came and completed the job efficiently and were very professional and kind. They even went out of their way to address a couple of other issues I had throughout the home that they did not have to do. Rob also recommended one of his guys that can repair the damages caused by the leaks. To say they were excellent is an understatement. I'm not a big fan of recommending people because I don't want to recommend someone and their experience is not good but Rob Nolfi Roofing will be recommended to anyone I know in need of their services. After the repairs so far, so good. They replaced my skylights and what a difference that has made. My bathroom which use to be very chilly is now warm.
