This classic inn is located in a large field near the forest with a tremendous panoramic view. The menu offers local and seasonal specialties, the kitchen is quite small and one must expect pretty long waiting times on a sunny Sunday. Gasthaus Mirli is a family hotspot with a playground, but it's also frequented by hikers and mountain bikers. Groups are welcome, a reservation is recommended though. We did have a couple folks in our group that speak German - but we had a fantastic waiter who was able to help in English as well. We had absolutely no disappointment with this restaurant. The food was amazing, the service was phenomenal, and the kids loved being able to play in the playground and feed the fish in the pond. If you happen into this town, check this place out. Everyone in our party of 6 ate every morsel of food. We even considered going back a second night - but ran out of time. Check it out, get the whole fish - it was the best!
