We visited this restaurant on our way to the caverns. Too many flies around, there was also a fly in the food (it was there when food arrived from kitchen). The server did not have courtesy to show some apologetic tone. The menu prices did not include VAT which is illegal in Germany. All other restaurants we have been to, show prices including the VAT so you pay what you see. Not with this restaurant. So be ready for a 5-7 euro bump in your check. The food tastes OK, could be cheaper. Not recommended. read more

It was the cleanest restaurant we've eaten at during our vacation. The food was amazing and the portions were great. Everyone loved their meals and we left with full bellies feeling satisfied and happy. So glad we went there. It's a must stop if you're anywhere near Vilseck.
