They food at the restaurant mostly comes fresh and direct straight from the butcher / bakery. (They also have a catering service. They really do it all.) The restaurant serves classic German and modern German dishes. They have a different special every evening all served in a comfy cozy atmosphere. The tables are classic string wood with benches, booths, and comfy chairs. Christine is a great hostest / waitress / bartender (beer and wine and limited aperitif) who may even be cooking back in the kitchen. I had a good Wiezen beer and I ordered the special which was a Feldsalat, Turkey Rolls with mashed potatoes and a homemade turkey gravy. The Feldsalat had bacon strip crumbles, bacon vinaigrette dressing and homemade croutons that were straight from the oven and still hot. So good! Each main dish comes with house salad on the side. You can tell that this restaurant is for local family gathering. They are famous for their pork shoulder dish. We ordered their homemade soups (Horseradish creamy soup and garlic & chive soup - very creative recipe only found at this place :) also ordered spaetzle (Germany egg noodles) with deep fried onions on the top is very interesting dish (one of food must try when visiting Germany. Overall the food and dinning experience was memorable!!!!
