There was a wedding party in the adjacent barn like building and it was very festive and fun. The restaurant itself is beautiful, wood detailing and perfect traditonal decor. It's cozy, comfortable, and inviting. The service and kitchen are very efficient and our meals arrived in good time. I had the schweinhaxen and it was excellent, along with a plump well prepared dumpling.The cabbage I had to accompany it was delicious. I would come back here again and again if it wasn't so far from home. This is a must do if in the area, or even worth a trip to it as a destination.

Therefore they have often very good game on the menu. THe chef is very inventive, rooted in Bavaria but also bringing international cuisine to the menu. Still the classics are as they should be in a Bavarian Restaurant: Schweinebraten (Very nice), Schnitzel Wiener Art (Pork),.... Yet another staple is not a classic on other Bavarian restaurants: a very good fish soup with local fish. A seasonal menu compliments the standards. Always worth a trip!
