Gary came with one other guy to inspect for a quote. He explained that what we ultimately needed was ConEdison's responsibility. Additionally, he pointed out a very dangerous safety concern with a wire that we didn't even notice. We had ConEdison come out and replace it. Gary was very professional, didn't charge me a cent, and offered to join a three way call with ConEdison if they gave me any issues, so that he could explain the severity of the issue. Responsive, quick, and great completing the electrical work. Initially, the work was to repair 2 outlets but it ended being more outlets that needed repair as well as a circuit breaker. Gary was great. Cheapest quote by a lot so I wasn't expecting much. On the appointment day he was 2 hrs late so I was pretty annoyed. But when he did show up, the work he did was excellent. He installed a new outlet in my bathroom which required breaking through a brick and cement wall. He also installed 4 wall sconces and upgraded another bathroom outlet. I used him a second time and he was 3 hrs late but again did a excellent work. Both these times he had somewhat plausible excuses. On a personal level, he was a nice person and very well-mannered and respectful. So....be prepared that he might be late. But when he does show up, he does quality work at an unbeatable price. So far, GAT has done several electrical projects for me so I can wholeheartedly recommend them. My first project was moving an outlet to another part of the wall. This was completed without a hitch so I knew if I had more projects, I'd be calling again. Then GAT updated my electrical wiring for a modern stove. My old stove was original to the apartment, from 1970 and he had to convert from hard wiring to an outlet. Another job well done. They came back to change my lighting fixtures in the dining area, put an extension for a ceiling fan, and also changed out a rusted outdoor wall sconce. I am highly impressed with all that they do. Worked fast and efficiently. Installed several outdoor lights, LED house number light and fixed our ring doorbell. The previous electrician we had installed a low voltage transformer which made our ring doorbell work on and off. This electrician replaced the transformer with one that was almost 4x the voltage.
