I had an so so experience at this gas station, but unfortunately, I was taken by an uncomfortable situation. While I was pumping gas, a homeless man kept asking me for money. I tried to politely decline since I had no cash and offered him something to eat from inside the store but all he kept saying is he needed money for food. He then followed me inside where I asked again, what can I buy you. He became mute and just stared at me. It made me feel a bit uneasy. The gas station itself was fine, but the interaction really left a bad taste. Hopefully, the staff can keep an eye out for situations like this in the future as they really didn't get involved. read more

We got a buncha WHINERS in the comments section... Boohoo you got bad service. Do you wanna work at a gas station? Especially talking to people with your attitude demanding first class service? No. Gas station not a rewarding job especially if it's 24/7, at some point you'll get a shift you don't wanna do that's way too early or way too late or both at the same time. This place has basically a fast food restaurant inside and they have good stuff. Burgers and burritos and all. I'd go here way before Jack in the Box. And frozen yogurt! Never have I ever. We don't get that luxury in California. You know what else they have though, chicharrones and cracklins. Same thing. But multiple flavors. So bad, the bags are so light and airy and one bag does not look like it could possibly have that many calories in it. But 5-7 servings each. Those were gone in one day. This very large gas station (for our area) is located at the northern junction of I-95 and I-10 where Brooklyn and Riverside join. In fact, there is a huge landscaping wall in front of the Gate that says "Brooklyn," making it hard to miss. It is very clean and well maintained outside with a decent, automatic car wash on the right hand side. Typical of Gate, the gas pumps have tv screens. Inside, it's bright and clean and smells ... like a restaurant? I don't think I'll ever get used to that. Lol They have the typical "hot" and cold food you associate with a convenience store but there is also a deli area with people making tiny pizzas and hot & cold sandwiches. What I really like is the fact that everyone who works here seems to be very nice. I've been here when it's slow and busy, in the morning and super late at night, and they've always been very pleasant. All of them - and there are a LOT of people working here. read more

This new gate started clean and is staying clean. The staff are always extra friendly. No matter what time of day I come in here they are smiling and pleasant. I wish everywhere I went had employees that were this way. There is a substantial selection of drinks and the kitchen is always clean looking. They have huge section for roller Grill and of course the fro yo rocks Every time I've had to use the bathroom it's been immaculate. They make a point of cleaning the parking lot and the car wash while somewhat expensive seems to do pretty good job This one is a little bit out of my way but I make a point of coming here because it's always a pleasant experience read more

Rude people and dirty store. Arrived early in the morning around 5:40. Nothing on the hot racks and first coffee maker was not working due to needing to be cleaned. The people behind the counter not friendly and rude. The whole store is dirty but what do you expect. read more

So excited about this new Gate as I have spent several occasions needing gas and a carwash but had to drive for miles to get this done. They also have a fresh kitchen which is great for a quick breakfast. Great location off the highway and next to 5 points. I also feel safer here while utilizing the services as it is large and very visible. read more

Incredibly disappointing that this fairly new Gate location has been incredibly poorly maintained. I had to go to 4 different pumps just to find a working one that allowed pay at the pump. Not one time did an employee respond to the attendant call button and, as usual from when my handicapped father used to have to call for assistance, the number to call the location consistently rings busy. Seems like Gate is really struggling to manage this location and that's too bad. read more

This new Gate is very clean and has pretty much everything you could want from a convenience store including fresh fruit, all of your typical snack foods, and even a spot to place orders for sandwiches and other quick snacks. It also has Yobe soft serve froyo machines along the walls for a tasty treat. It's great to finally have a large gas station in the area that can accommodate more than four people fueling up at once too. Good job Brooklyn/Riverside! read more

This is a very busy location. The floors are often dirty/sticky. The yobe froyo station dispenses watery yogurt. I've attempted to use the auto vacuum units several times and none of them work: won't accept payment easily (takes 4-5 attempts each time to get approved) and then has next to zero suction. I mean, they won't pick up even a Tylenol tablet. On top of the low power you might find hose unattached to power source or nozzle missing like I did. My biggest complaint about this location is the absence of maintenance on services offered and the dirty floors. Again, it is a high traffic location frequented by many commercial users (ie, contractors of all sorts) so maybe corporate should give the on site management more support--but still, I would go anywhere other than here unless you're just getting gas. read more
