Boat rental gone wrong: we cannot imagine what ppl new to boating would have done when faced with…read morethe multiple scary moments we had when renting from Island Jet Ski rental on Casey Key. We are frequent boaters and wanted to try renting a boat while visiting our Florida home. We were joined by friends who have also boated in the past. We were told to arrive no later than 8:40 am, (arrived @8:30) but had to wait around for the employee to show up around 9. Their website advertises $299/4 hours or $399/8 hours but when we checked in we were told it was $399 for 6 hours or $499 for 8 hours. We agreed to rent the boat & when we returned the cost issue would be resolved after employee spoke w/owner since he wasn't able to reach her. Employee quickly showed us where safety equipment was stored and we were off. The boat, however, was not mechanically sound: we discovered that the storage compartment area under the floor was flooding to the point that the water was leaking onto the deck. It looked like the hull could be leaking. Imagine our surprise when we saw that! We were worried the boat could sink! The fenders were literally floating in the storage area. Thank goodness we were able to use the bilge to pump all of that water out. We frequently checked on and pumped out the water several times. The boat ran very slow because there was so much algae growth on the bottom of the boat which,in turn, caused it to guzzle gas. We had to stop for gas twice on our return for fear of running out! No sure why they would rent a boat for 8 hours that runs the risk of running out of gas? The engine repeatedly cut out while we were traveling the Intracoastal Waterway. Not sure why I but that just added to the stress and anxiety one feels when they are facing the possibility of being "adrift" and having to get their boat towed. We called them to let them know why it was taking us so long to return and that we might be late, but had to leave a message. On our return we showed the employee the condition of the boat and shared our experience with him. He discovered that the "live well" wasn't draining properly and it was flooding the boat. After calling the owner, she agreed to reduce the price of our rental by $50 and reimburse us $50 for what we spent on gas. It didn't feel like adequate service recovery to me but we took what we could get. We will never return here and if you are smart, you will rent elsewhere.

The captain of the Airboat showed up on time very pleasant great since of humor and filled with knowledge. I have for years been going all the way to the Everglades and only to see maybe one alligator if you're lucky however, on this one there were plentiful we saw at least five. Plus learned so much about the ecosystem and the lifestyles of the alligators. Absolutely amazing company and and highly recommend.

Went over the safety briefing and they lead you out of the channel to the gulf. They do not start the time until you arrive in the gulf which I thought was very cool. One note is no lockers for your personal stuff but they hang onto your license as a deposit and will put your keys with them. Overall, I was very impressed with this operation and will most defiantly be back.

We didn't…read moresee any dolphins, but wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed, and it didn't ruin the experience for us. We took the 1 p.m. tour during a busy holiday weekend, so I would probably choose a morning or sunset cruise if seeing dolphins is your main priority. The sandbar stop was the highlight and the main reason I booked this tour. The water was warm, and we found lots of living sand dollars. My son loved exploring and searching in the water. We also heard that manatees passed near the boat while I was out on the sandbar, but unfortunately, I missed them. We purchased the VIP upgrade, which included priority boarding, alcoholic drinks for the adults, and soda or juice for kids. If you decide you want to have drinks after you get on the boat and didn't get the upgrade, you can add it when you're on the boat. The larger tour boat had plenty of shade and space, and it never felt crowded. The bathroom was easy to access and clean. Captain Dan and Brandt were friendly and helpful, and Captain Dan's commentary about the wildlife and waterfront homes made the ride entertaining. Even without dolphins, this was a fun afternoon on the water, and I would recommend the tour--especially for families who want a boat ride that also lets them get out and explore.

Our tour guides were Chad and Joey who made for a great ride out into the ocean. Good information was shared along the way and when dolphins were located on the tour Chad was excellent at pointing them out along the way. A bald eagle nest was also seen complete with a bald eagle perched overlooking the ocean. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and the tour was just the right amount of time to be out on the water to enjoy the boat ride. We don't drink so purchased the tickets without the alcohol included but then were welcome to bring on our own drinks and snacks for the ride. The playlist of music out on the sunset tour was top notch and apparently dolphins have a good affection for Elton John's "Tiny Dancer" as when that song came on the dolphins came out in force. Great area for bird watching!…read more We parked in the free lot, climbed some of the hill, and then crossed the street for a short walk to the water viewing wooden piers. We were able to see some great birds and the water was beautiful. Very peaceful area that we could've easily spent more time in. It was sweltering outside so make sure to bring a sun umbrella, hat, and water.

We visited Celery Fields on a recent Monday morning, with the hope of seeing and photographing…read more sandhill cranes, roseate spoonbills, and other birds. We were partially successful. There are 2 buildings adjacent to the main parking lot at Celery Fields. Each has a purple martin house, and both of these were very active when we were there. One of the buildings houses Audubon Society volunteers who can advise you where to see birds. There's a small garden outside of this building that's worth a visit. The other building, on the opposite side of the parking lot, has rest rooms. There's a crosswalk across Palmer Blvd. near the parking lot, leading to a boardwalk over a marshy area. A recent rain attracted quite a few birds when we were there in mid-March 2026. At the end of the boardwalk there's a gazebo for observing the birds. Another marshy area and gazebo is along Raymond Rd. Parking is available on the grass along the road. There was lots of bird activity. We saw many varieties, including herons, egrets, a caracara, a northern harrier, ibises, wood storks, gallinule, osprey, anhinga, and many others. There are lots of trails near the marshes, in addition to the boardwalks. Celery Fields is a great spot to go hikng and birding. Sunscreen is advisable because most of the areas are not shaded.

Accidentally got there too early but they had no problem at all and let us take it out when we got there. We did the self-guided 2 hour tour and the employee went over a few paddle instructions and tips of where to go and not to go. He also offered us a dry bag to take with us. Kayaks and paddles worked great and we went thru 2 mangrove tunnels and the sandbar by midnight pass. Even got out and walked over the land bridge to turtle beach. Had a great time! Recommend and would rent from here again!
