About a month ago, my husband and I purchased a vehicle from this dealership, working directly with Facundo. During the sales process, we were verbally told we were agreeing to a 24-month loan, payments of approximately $500/month, and financing around 4.99% interest. We put down $9,000 in cash, which completely disappeared. Our automatic payment was withdrawn from our bank account, and it was $587, not the amount we believed we had agreed and signed to.That immediately sent us into panic mode, so we started digging. What we discovered was HORRIFYING. The financing paperwork reflected a 70-MONTH loan, not 24 months, and an interest rate closer to 10%, not 4.99%. But it gets worse. When the lender later sent over documentation, we discovered signatures were completely forged, and the email address associated with the electronic documents was not my husbands email - this was done to prevent him from receiving the copies of the DocuSign directly. Let that sink in. When we contacted the dealership expecting someone to explain or help correct what appeared to be serious discrepancies, we were met with arrogance, zero accountability, and complete dismissal. Instead of helping, we were told that if we wanted certain add-ons canceled, we had to do it ourselves--even though those products were sold to us during the deal. And Thomas (the supposed manager's) response? "See you in court." So that is exactly the route we are now taking. We are actively retaining a consumer attorney and filing formal complaints with the state. Their SunBiz corporation is INACTIVE! This has been financially devastating, emotionally exhausting, and one of the most disturbing consumer experiences we've ever had. Absolutely disgraceful. read more

Terrible experience. This has been the biggest headache I've ever gone through -- and I'm pregnant, which made it even more stressful. They do not care about people at all, no matter your circumstances. All they care is getting paid. They gave us a great price over the phone for a car, but refused to put anything in writing. When we drove in from out of state, that car "wasn't available" anymore. They then convinced us to buy another car instead. They told us the total price was $14,500. The next day, when we carefully looked at the paperwork, we found out the car was actually listed at $23,000. That's almost $9,000 more than what they told us. The signing process was rushed. They quickly flipped through papers, showed us forms with the lower price, but those weren't the papers we actually signed. It was confusing on purpose and felt like a total scam. This place tricks people, hides the real numbers, and pushes you to sign before you can think. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! No recomiendo este dealer a nadie. Mi experiencia fue muy negativa desde el principio. El precio de la camioneta no fue el que me dijeron al inicio, y la primera camioneta que me llevaron tenía fallas. Cuando pedí que me devolvieran mi depósito, me dijeron que no se podía, usando como excusa una parte del contrato que nunca me explicaron claramente. Además, al momento de financiar, vi que el interés estaba súper alto, y cuando pregunté me dijeron que no me preocupara, que después de 3 meses podía refinanciar y que el pago bajaría. Hasta el día de hoy le he escrito varias veces al "financiero" para que me ayude con ese refinanciamiento y nunca contesta. Siento que solo querían vender, sin importar si estaban engañando. I called about a specific car I saw online and was assured it was available. After driving out there, a salesman took me on a two-hour wild goose chase around multiple parking lots. Once I was good and drained, they casually mentioned the car I came to see was "just sold." Then came the bait-and-switch. They showed me another car and verbally told me a price of $15,000. They made it sound like that was the total price. Only after I had committed mentally and put a down payment did I discover the real truth: the $15,000 was just the down payment they wanted, and the actual car price was over $32,000--a fact they hide until you're in deep. The signing process is a designed distraction scam. The office is always filled with a crowd of men talking over you, constantly offering water, and creating chaos. While I was signing, they had me on the phone with my insurance company to transfer coverage. While I was distracted on the phone, they placed their hands over the documents, guiding me to sign without letting me read a single page. My advice is this: LOOK THEM UP ON YELP FIRST. That's what I should have done. I returned the car immediately after I realized the extent of their deception. Do not trust them. Do not give them your keys. Do not believe a word they say. This is a true story. I'm not here to waste time writing, so the dealer's response doesn't matter because it wont solve anything they have already done. DO NOT COME TO THE PLACE!!! IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM! (Don't work with all of them, particularly Lucas)! There are many dealers in the same spot, but they all work together, in turn using each other as scape goats if they're ever in the hot seat. If you put a bad review on their website, their defense is that they don't have your records. The address where I visited to see the car was this place where I'm leaving the review, but the place where I filed the papers was a different address (same road but different building number). I had to drive 4 HOURS only to be met with disappointment. They had at first told me that the price was somewhat cheap, only to up the price once I was already roped in by surprise. They do not speak clearly about the prices of the car or how much they are going to charge you. HIDDEN FEES EVERYWHERE! They had the audacity to charge me an extra delivery fee when I was the one who went to pick up the car myself - not to mention the fact that this was all for a car they couldn't even be bothered to make look presentable!! The remote that locks the car doors was not the right one for my car - they didn't even give me the correct key fob. I had to spend more money on a new key and a new remote for the car. Once I had the car, it was completely empty of gas and none of the buttons on the steering wheel worked. I contacted them on a vehicle posted on FB - when I asked the representative for a copy of the Carfax report he refused and said I had to come in to the dealership- then I asked him for the cash out the door price, and his reply was "are you American?" To which I replied yes- And he proceeded to refuse selling to Americans. They prey on immigrants and the destitute- engaging in Bait and Switch tactics- changing the pricing - lying about the pricing- and refusing service and sales to people based on race and or nationality. When we asked to see the previously agreed-upon vehicle, the salesperson told us it was not in good condition due to transmission issues and instead showed us other available vehicles. We explained to the salesperson that we wanted to pay in cash and expected a good price, but he discouraged us, claiming that we could only access a two-year warranty if we financed the vehicle through "their own banks." This seemed interesting, so we agreed to let them review our credit. The manager informed us that our credit scores were excellent and that we qualified for financing with a 4.5% interest rate. We were asked to select a vehicle from their inventory, and after visiting several of their locations, we chose a truck. When we returned to the manager's office to finalize the process, we were told that the interest rate had now increased to 5.6% and that the financing term would be 60 months. This was a change from the initial terms, and although we were not interested in long-term financing, the manager assured us that we could pay off the loan in 3 to 4 months without penalties and still keep the two-year warranty. They sold me a truck with a blown engine (damaged crankshaft), I told them the second day after paying for the vehicle and they tricked me by telling me to wait a month for my warranty to be activated. In short, they took no responsibility only because the 30-page contract they made me sign said the word As is, which according to them means that the vehicles sold at that dealership are used and once you pay for it, they are not responsible. Today I have had my truck for 3 months, I am still paying for it, and for two and a half months the truck has been at the mechanic's fighting for the warranty to cover the hidden damage that they hid when they sold it to me. Finally, every time I went to the Gauthay Auto sales location, the supposed financier hid from me so as not to help me resolve the problem. FALLS ADVERTISING!!! Don't trust this place. They do 3 different advertising for the same vehicle. When you get there, the vehicle you like they pretend they cannot find it. The contact person said he's there in the lobby but when you get there, suddenly it was his day off. When you tell them you don't want any other vehicle, instantly they say the one you like is already sold out. Seriously? Sold in a matter of seconds while we were there? We might have wasted our time getting there but for some reason prior to the conversation I felt bad vibes and I felt sick to my stomach that I told my spouse to not even go inside... On September 7, 2023, my 18 yrs. old nephew was excited to purchase his first car, unfortunately he decided to go this shady dealership. To make this short. They told him a price of $15,000.00 for a 2020 Ford 150. The agreement was to pay $14,000.00 cash and that the $1,000.00 was going to be left to "build credit". Well now September 29, 2023, he decided to pay off the $1,000.00 and just get his title. He gets there, the original seals guys is "not there", he wasn't not approved for the "car loan" now he owes $35,000.00 on top of what he had given as a "deposit". So, he decided to return the truck, but they kept $5,000.00 for using the truck a whole 21 days. We called the police, because we felt like we were being scammed (which we are) but the office said that they are entitled to do because they have a "signed contract" which my nephew said he never signed all the pages that where on file or was given a copy of.
