The shop was slow, so I didn`t have to wait too long. It must have been a bad timing on my part or a bad day for the owner, Billy, because when I asked for a recommendation for a new hairstyle he said that "Today is not the greatest time". So I showed him a picture that I found online of how I wanted my hair to look like, and it sounded like he is confident in what he is doing. From the other reviews I do not doubt his ability to cut hair, but maybe the Asian hair is a bit of a challenge. There must have been a miscommunication because he didn`t ask if I wanted the sides of my head tapped or buzzed all the way to the skin. The price is $18 for a haircut, and I never got the hot-towel treatment like the other user Paul said, nor have my side burns shaved to line up with the mid of my ear. The hair cut went from bad to the worst haircut of my life. I felt very rushed and towards the end of this horrible experience he wouldn`t give me any suggestions on how to fix it, but kept saying "It`s up to you." I will not be giving this place another chance, and I hope other customers have a better experience than I did. Thank you for reading.

Further, he has more hardware/tools than an aircraft carrier and uses ALL of them. We identified a dark patch to go back over and even up; he addressed the patch immediately and smoothed it out. John is generous with both his time and backstory. John will find a way to connect with you before he busts out the fine edger and straight razor. Salons? Keep 'em! They answered so quickly and I asked the gentleman a few questions if they can do skin fade and so beards. He told me yes so we took the risk. My husband came out smiling and loved his hair cut so much that now he wished he can take the guy to where we live. The guy literally took his time and cut his hair perfectly.
