As I was planning to go to Europe traveling, and the lady recommend me to take the Credit card, as it charges me less commission, than compared to the travellers cheque, and less risky if I carry cash - pickpocket risk area. etc. So I will go back there again, and to ask her for the more info on my far east trip!

It's located between two tunnels and trains run from here towards Gourock in one direction and Glasgow in the other. It's staffed full time (there are no self-service ticket machines).There is a seating area under cover but no actual waiting room. A new car park opened a short time ago and a taxi rank is now in Roxburgh Street next to some phone boxes. There are many different small shops in the vicinity including a cafe at the entrance to the station.

It has a great setting and it has a 'Grand Entrance' but it is in need of some TLC. The ticket office is more often closed tham open (pot luck?) Seating is available but a proper shelter from the weather is a big miss.

The lady behind the counter was really friendly and was ok with my scattered brain the morning after a late night out. It also had loads of notifications of customer satisfaction for a water side station, which was nice to see.
