They may have been better though being closer to the children's play area at the other end of the mall. Overall, they seem to have a good mixof plush toys, games, and other items. I took my mom and Nancy shopping here just after Thanksgiving and the store was beautifully decorated and selling many Christmas items. Shopping here is definitely a blast from the past - seeing all the toys, magazines, glassware, and other collectables I became familiar with as a child. This store is huge (14,000 sq. ft.), you can easily spend an hour here so bring your comfortable walking shoes. Some of the items that sparked my interest included the monkey chandelier, the Mozart bust sculpture, the hand standing lamp, Fritz's Nussknacker Standl, the Playboy limited edition collectables, the world coin map, and the variety of vintage ceramic Christmas trees (my mom used to make these when I was a kid). The staff were exceptional on our visit. They wrapped our gifts, and also provided directions to other stores like this one close to the area. All-in-all, if you shopping in Daytona Beach, I highly recommend checking out Nicole's Beach Street Mall.

I had to return 2 days in a row because the balloons I bought did not hold the helium. When I went back the second day to get the balloons replaced, I ended up spending way too much time waiting for the employees trying to figure out how to use the helium tank. Danny, who said he was the assistant manager, was too busy on his phone to assist Irene the employee who was clearly inexperienced on using the helium tank. They went through 4 balloons of the same design to try and figure out how to fill the double balloons. The only reason that I allowed them to continue to try is that when I purchased the balloons I did not realize all of the registers are self-checkout and the receipts come out under the countertop. Danny did not want to hear any suggestions that I suggested. after what felt like an hour I took my $5.00 loss on the balloon and left. No apologies or how can we make this right? I'm not mad at the staff but I do hold the company accountable for not training these individuals on simple tasks. It's not a party store, it's a lot of everyday supplies with a party store name.

Employees recommendations on the shelves call out individual titles. Lots of tables display trade paperbacks and hardcovers devoted to a particular theme or sale. One labeled "Five Star Fiction" presented well-reviewed new releases. If you order from the cafe look for a book near the register that's on sale for $5 with a purchase. I usually prefer used bookstores to new ones but this palatial Barnes & Noble is worth the stop. It's at the same I-95 exit as Buc-ee's.

They even discovered some books they're interested in, which was such a treat to see. I grabbed a coffee while we were there, and although it was nice, I did feel it was a bit overpriced. Still, the overall experience was wonderful, and I'll definitely be bringing them back for another visit soon!
