The city side platform does have a rather nice building there, but the other side seems to be only for people who get off the train, having come in from Melbourne. Mind you, the subway does have some rather nice artwork.

Well, here is another railway station that I can mark off my list, not that there is really…read moreanything about it that would cause me to want to give it any marks, namely because, well, there really isn't all that much here. Okay, the interstate train does happen to stop here before turning further inland, but the other regional trains, well, not so much. In fact, when I was here I ended up going in one direction so as to go in the other, due to the number of trains that wouldn't stop here.

This is the newest mega train station near Point Cook. It looks clean, at least compared to those…read morein US. There is huge car park for commuters, however there is bit of walking distance, plan to give plenty of time.

Ok, it's a train station, not the most exciting thing in the world but this one gets a lot of…read morethings right. Good bicycle access without having to ride on the road, bicycle parking built right into the station buildings, no hard to cross busy roads around the station (the one that would be a problem is closed permanently to cars!), right next to a big park, only 400m from two different schools... the list goes on.

Yeah, this station is rather nice, and you can sort of tell that it has been around for a while,…read moreand that it is also a rather major station as well. It is quite close to the shops, which is also a pretty good thing, and the trains are also reasonably frequent, and some of them are express as well, which I certainly do appreciate. Sure, it might not be one of my favourite suburbs in Melbourne, but the station does have some charm, and there is also a bus interchange as well, which also helps.

I guess being located next to a major shopping centre does help, and help quite a lot, but still, I do quite appreciate the fact that this station is just a little more than a shelter and a platform. I guess also being a termination station for some trains helps as well.
