very ridiculous! after they messed up my filing for asylum because they didn't do it properly I decided to retain a new lawyer. It took me almost 3 weeks to get my files from them. All the while I was trying to get in touch with them and couldn't. But as soon as I wrote a review on google they next day they call me and gave me my files. I requested a refund and again I had to wait another 3 weeks. all they do is turn me around. today I finally got an email with my hourly rate they charged me for their service. So what they did was charge me ridiculous price and hiking up my bill even for messages and email they sent jus so the total amount to more than what I have payed so far. then they have the nerves to tell me once I remove my review they would call it even. these people only care about money. We paid them from our immigration case and for 1 month no one contacted us even for our documents!!! when we reached out to them....no one had any clue about the case. Upon requesting a refund, there was no response for months and finally, they came back saying they will only give us back less than 50%. The funny thing is when asked why they were deducting 5-60% the and proof of any work they did...all the office manager could tell us was 1 paralegal made 1 phone call to find out what the procedure was with NVC (I don't belive they did that either). so 1 paralegal phone call cost me about $1800. About a week ago my O1 artist visa case was approved by the USCIS and yesterday I went to pick up my approval notice. Before coming to Gehi & Associates, a different law office handled my case. The previous law office I hired to do my case were able to get me the approval however it was half baked. Upon receiving my approval notice in the mail, I read it and I was confused because of something that was written on the letter. I wasn't sure how to feel. I should be happy because I got approved. But I wasn't happy, it felt like a curse. I didn't know what to do or who to turn to. I felt devastated. I tried to talk to the previous law office about it to make the corrections but after speaking to the principal attorney handling my case in person, he wasn't cooperative and refused to do it. When I spoke to him about conflict of laws, I knew more than he did. I did my own memo of law because I happen to be a lawyer. Being a lawyer also allowed me to spot more of the sham than a lay person would. His reference to comity clause of the Constitution, for example/ There is no such thing, I knew that, he did not. The staff has turnover faster than the rolls at the bakery on the corner. They never answer the phone. So, I went there to make an appointment. The guy looked at me smiled and then went about his business. I left when my parking ran out because I did not want a ticket. We paid over 2,000USD and my girl learned more from her free internet group on facebook. They filled out the initial form. nothing else. You would be better served to fill out your own forms and take your money to Aquaduct, at least you might get something. Martha says the employees know nothing, that is because the boss knows nothing and they are always leaving. Gehi must be paying Samantha for her to give this buffoon 5 stars. I am writing this review with intense pain and regret. Regret is that I fell for the sweet talks of Gehi of him saying I am a professor and I know everything and named some big names to sell himself. He even said he has a photographic memory to which I thought what better could any person expect from their lawyer than to remember all the laws that he has read. Once they had taken my money I had to chase them for an answer. Constant emails and calls were unheard and were replied with dumb answers like "we are working on it" and anything they could stick us with, by the time they sent me their review it was everything that I myself had communicated with them. Gehi office office only charge you more then other lawyer and just fill the Form and send and after forget. even they cant even fill the form correctly. Gehi told me that when i talk to him first day. Gehi said dont worry you are talk to Gehi . i will get your wife green card. my already have conditonal green card only probelm with renew the green issue. and Now in March 2022 Gehi office telling me that your case was denied in September 2021.
