When I saw the renewal I started researching all of her renewals over the past 10 years and was astounded by the rate of increase 2008 $1,027, 2011 $3,044, 2016 $5,902, 2020 $7,239, 2022 $9.073, and then 2023 $10,186 I do know that between 2008 and 2021 there were five claims in which I'm working with my aunt to determine what the details of those claims are. In any event when I reached out to the Milton Agency I spoke with two different contacts. One of which was shocked by the premium too. She joked and asked if the home was a mansion I responded by stating that this is not a joke! When we inquired about the high rate of increase we got the run around. We then escalated the issue to Allstate Corporate only to be given more of the same. This is not okay. Perhaps all of the homes in my aunts neighborhood should be audited to make sure there aren't any other instances as such. This is unfortunate.
