I arrived at 5:45 pm to find the location closed although the hours were clearly posted online and on the locked door as being 9am to 7am. I called the number on the door and spoke to someone who apologized and informed me there had been some recent changes and that this location closed at approximately 5:30pm most days. He went on to tell me that someone would be in tomorrow around 11:30 or 12:00. So the hours posted are 9 to 7 but are actually whenever they decide to open until whenever they decide to close.

One Star - AMICA: RUDE, USELESS, AND A TOTAL SCAM…read more If you're considering Amica for insurance, save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. My experience with them has been horrible--not only do they refuse to help, but their customer service is shockingly rude. I was in a terrifying highway accident--snow and ice flew off a car in front of me, shattered my windshield, and when I tried to safely pass, he sped up and hit me. I had a clear dash cam video proving exactly what happened, and instead of supporting me, KATELYN, my claims rep, acted like she worked for the other driver. She told me the video was "damning" and implied the accident was my fault. Then, she set up my claim in a way that completely screwed me over--ensuring I get absolutely nothing. And if that wasn't bad enough, the customer service gets even worse. Katelyn actually had the nerve to call me today to follow up, and I politely told her I no longer wanted to work with her. And what did she do? She HUNG UP ON ME. So I call back and get CASSANDRA, thinking maybe someone else in this company will actually act like a professional. Nope. Instead, she was just as rude and dismissive, making a snarky comment when I asked if this was a small office or what. She made sure to let me know she sits directly next to Katelyn and then gaslit me, saying Katelyn would NEVER hang up on me--when that's literally what just happened. So, to sum it up: * Katelyn is rude, dismissive, and more concerned about defending the other driver than helping a paying customer. * Cassandra is just as rude, and apparently they sit together, so that explains a lot. * They literally hang up on customers and then lie about it. * I spend $3,400 a year for insurance that does absolutely nothing when I need it. * Their automated phone system is a disaster, making it nearly impossible to even get to a live person in the first place. At this point, I don't even know if Amica is an insurance company or a social experiment in how terrible customer service can be. If you want to be treated like garbage while paying thousands of dollars, Amica is the company for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away.

We were really excited when we met with the owner Bill Bearce for multiple policies for our…read morecompany. The service at first was A+ but once we signed all the contracts that quickly changed. Simple items that should have been turned around within 24-48 hours turned into days and multiple follow ups. The staff is very disjointed and it appeared as if they do not communicate- which took multiple cycles on our end. The real kicker was when our building had an issue and we were advised by Mr. Bearce himself on how to handle- when the claim was submitted it was denied. Once denied, he refused to return calls or emails as if we were not his clients when that was really when we needed Bearce Insurance. His fear of malpractice led to him ignoring the situation and providing us no support. Fortunately, after making a switch to another company they figured out how to help us properly handle the claim in order to get it approved but all it took was some basic human interaction and communication skills. It has almost been a year since we left his company and they still are sending us renewal emails-- steer clear of this company. There are plenty of other insurance companies in the area who live up to what they promise.
