Geico is wonderful...until you get an accident!!! I was in an accident that was not my fault and these people have been giving me the runaround for days. I don't have a car to get to work and they won't pay for a rental until they speak with the other person who claims responsibility even though I paid for the police report that THEY told me to get (not reimbursable either)! This the worst insurance company. Yes they are cheaper like someone mentioned in their reviews. Got in the small accident. They gave us an estimate for superior damage, however, when I took my car to dealers to fix it , there was few internal damage but Geico don't want pay for it. Unprofessional agents behind the front desk. Also had a car inspection for commercial insurance which your required to obtain from them before they will add full coverage, if you fail to get the inspection within the 30 days they drop you to liability only. Well guess how I learned that they never faxed the hard copy over to the commercial side? Yep, I was in an accident. Thankfully I had my copy in my records but it created a fantastic mess which required myself spending hours on the phone. So this aaa Dec. 2018, didn't get officially corrected till March 2019 when all along it was an error on there end not mine!! Needless to say, I no longer choose to do business with them. read more

I had unpleasant encounter in this office with one of the agent by the name Clinton M. Jr. We needed to ensure the vehicle and assuming I can get a good deal. Our family has a good driving history so I thought it would be a "no-brainer" easy business transaction. Boy, was I in for unpleasant surprise. Geico "fishes" the client first and then Diggs into the history to milk you out of money. For instance: my wifes' car was hit by a tractor-trailer in Boston (she was parked so it was not her fault" Geico told me they do not care whose fault it was and gave me an astronomical quote because of that. Thanks but no thanks! There are better companies to deal with with honestly better policies. Farewell Geico and no amount of you 3d grade TV spots and cheap-fake "Happy Birthday" cards will make me your customer again! read more

I have had nothing but problems with this company. I had an accident in May and they refused to pay medical bills. I have been on the phone with them numerous times, getting different answers from different departments. The people are very nice but the operation is horrible. My mother had 5 broken ribs and a broken pelvis. All of which Gieco refused to cover. This after numerous agents and adjusters said they would be. Nine employees in one day. Now they claim if you live in a home with a certain person they do not cover anything!!?? When I signed up none of these facts were made known to me. They just sent me basic policy information without details. You buy Insurance to protect yourself and others. I think this is dirty play and suggest everyone to sign with a different company. They even attempted to denying my daughters broken neck but were thwarted because she does not live in the same house. I paid out of pocket for my broken ribs. My suggestion, do your homework and completely avoid Gieco. read more

I called Geico a few days ago to add a vehicle to my current plan, A price quote of $380 a Month was given which I think is very high for someone that drive safe without any accident, but I agreed with it and now I received an emails that it will $415 every month, after calling them, they explanation is that insurance quote goes up with out warning and there is nothing they could do, horrible customers service, first chance I get, I'm switching to another company. read more

One of the requirements after signing up was to bring out cars in for an inspection so my husband sent me as a test dummy because he wanted to know just how long it would take to get done aka he's impatient (but shh that's between you and me) any ways, the inspection was super easy and most importantly very fast! 5 years ago after no accidents and no tickets I noticed that my old insurance company State Farm seemed to be raising their prices and I didn't like that so I shopped around and decided upon the little green lizard also known as Geico. My car is paid for so I really only carry minimum coverage and I don't travel very far on a daily basis so when I was quoted for my new car insurance I readily accepted and joined Geico. They give you a funny little survey and asked why you decided upon Geico I can imagine how many people like myself said because of the commercials with the little lizard who has an English accent. I like to be entertained just like everybody else and that was pretty much the reason besides being less expensive than State Farm. I've always had a clean driving record I don't speed because I am never in a hurry to get anywhere. The price was right the coverage is great and I know I'm with a reputable company.
