I told her that it was painful but she kept going anyway trying to rush to get the nails off. Tried giving Gel Nails in Fort many chances but their unsanitary practices were my final straw. They reused the dirty acetone from the person before me to have me soak my nails in. I went back to my old salon and they asked what they put on my nails because it wouldn't come off like normal dip powder. I found my new salon. I drive 15 minutes to go to this salon. They can always fit me in. They have a selection of pedicures with great price points and options. I've been happy with my dip manicures as well. Overall, the staff is kind and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable. read more

***UNDER AWESOME NEW OWNERSHIP*** They reopened under new ownership around June 2018. They remodeled and it looks great inside! They owners are fantastic! They're all very personable and care about having long-lasting relationships with their customers to give something different than the average salon. Along with the awesome people and great conversation, I was incredibly pleased with my nails! I got a deluxe pedicure with gel. I highly recommend this!! The hot wax is fabulous and it's super relaxing and I didn't feel at all like they were rushing. This was my first visit to Gel Nails and Lee did an exceptional job at fixing my previous botched hombre nail job. His attention to detail was truly impressive! My manicure looked more beautiful than anywhere else I've ever went and the dip manicure lasted 3 weeks without cracks or chips before I had to have them taken off for work. I went to get gel nails and after three hours my thumb paint peeled off I went back following day and repaired (they are very nice) but then the following day my middle finger peeled off I don't have time to keep going back and complaining so overall a waste of money. I had the man bad he was in such a hurry he just didn't allow to drive later by layers! Won't be back. I am disappointed in this salon!! I got a gel manicure 1 week ago and the polish is already chipping and falling off!!! The last time I got a gel manicure from the other salon down the road it lasted almost 4 weeks! The person who did my manicure was rushing the entire time and constantly whispering/talking to himself which made me uncomfortable. I will not be coming back here again. read more

Best pedicure in town. Lena did an amazing job, the water was hot how I like it, she was very particular in making sure my cuticles were clean and healthy-- I have never had them looking so good! I did the paraffin wax treatment as well and always love that. The salon is fresh and very clean. Recommend this over all the other places in town for sure. read more

Excellent experience all the way around. The facility is very clean and beautiful. I did not have an appointment but was able to get a gel manicure for my finger nails almost immediately. The nail technician was friendly and very gentle. I greatly appreciated that she did not use a drummel on my nails and was very cautious when trimming my cuticles. Overall, the nails were good. I liked the service but my lady seemed to rush and I did not get a hand massage at the end like I normally do. One other thing that could of been improved was under my nail there was a lot of residue left. The lady was nce, it was a pretty ok experience. Very disappointed. 1st time here, I called Saturday Sept 23. To see if I could get a fill. She said come in @ 10:30. I got there a little after 10. She was doing a client. I figured I was early anyway. Then another lady came in and said she had appointment @ 10. That seemed kind of weird. But she told me my apt was @ 11:00. NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!. But she showed me the appointment book. Whatever. I should have walked out then. Well I stayed. Look @ the nail designs. I saw a casino design, that's what I wanted. I told her.....she's like cool. Well here comes a big disappointment. My turn She said my nails were old & I need a new set. That was B S. She took my nails off & new put on. She cut them so short, I can't have a design put on. Then while buffing my nails, she accidently got to close to my finger tip, & she got the tip..........owie . Well the new nails were $40. If I want color another $10. Are you kidding me. And then including her tip would be almost $60. Did you know they add there tip in the price? Well she charged me $45. I guess because of my bitching. Another thing that looked weird, she had a shoulder purse. She didn't open the register one time. All the money went in her purse. She told me when I come back the next time. NO WAY will I be back. The only reason I went there, my nail technician was on vacation. I have never paid more than $40 for my nails. I will never cheat on Hollywood nails in Janesville ever again. read more
