I've been to 3 locations to get dip done in my natural nails, this was the only place that I came to in which the dip lasted longer than a week. It actually lasted my 2.5 week's as my nails grow fast. I never have an issue, customer service is excellent and once the dip cracked on my other finger (I type with my nails) I called they told me to come right back in and they fixed it without any questions. read more

I stopped at Hollywood Nails on a whim after coming out of Hallmark. Ladies and gents, I HAVE FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE NAIL PLACE!!! I was greeted immediately. We had a detailed conversation about my nails and what I prefer. The shop was very clean and modern. The staff were so kind. I received a very thin overlay (powder on top of natural nail) and gel polish. When I tell you I cannot stop looking at my nails, I'm not lying! I am OBSESSED. This picture doesn't do them justice. I used to be a regular at this nail salon, it's been a couple years. When I walked in I was greeted by a lady who likes to roll her eyes. The nail tech, I think "Eric" didn't do a good job at all on my full set. I wanted short and round tips and the are all different lengths and shapes. I even showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted. I had to go home and reshape them all. read more

Idk if I'm too hard to please or I just always get mediocre service every where I go. Pros: walked in and got in right away Cons: seemed rushed, design I asked for turned out.... barely. I can barely see it. It's so faint, light, and small. I had the picture there for reference... at the end I just wanted to take off the design but didn't cause I was over it and ready to go. They were rough with my hands, was super odd. And my nails don't look that great. Probably would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was visiting out of town and needed my nails done. They were able to take me with no appointment. The salon was filthy. The nail polish old and thick, bottles caked on top with dry polish. To top it off for a pedi and mani I was charged $40!!! Do not go here! read more

Love this place! Tried to walk in with my daughter for a little mother daughter bonding and it was packed! So we made an appointment to return the next day. So glad we did. Great service and friendly staff. Love that it's family owned and operated. We don't live in Janesville but do visit. Will make it a point to visit again when I'm in town. read more

I've been going to this person for about 20 yrs. I've never had a complaint. Well today is my last day going there. Very disappointed on the price. I just got a fill and the tip of my nails done. He charged me $40. I've never been charged more than $25 for this. It would have been different if I had nails put on. I called later, to talk to him. He told me I had 2 colors put on. No offense to the VERY nice people who work here and own the place, but it's nasty and dirty. And instead of straightening things or cleaning up after our services were done, they just sat in the spa chairs and watched TV. The quality of my mani/pedi was not great either. Actually not good at all. I had to cut my finger nails all the way down because my tips were so jagged and peeling only 3 days after I had my manicure. :-( I'm sorry. Very rushed, pedicure was not painted well , and was not cautious of pain. Customer's need to be thought of more than just their wallet.

Before yesterday I had never gotten a pedicure before. My friend came in from out of town and asked if we could get ours done. I did a little research and found Hollywood Nails. Their reviews looked good, they were open and the price looked right. I went in, not entirely sure what to expect. The place looked clean and wasn't very crowded for a Sunday afternoon. My friend and I were taken to the back where we were able to relax in the comfortable massage chairs and treated to a nice foot soak. read more

The staff was very funny and friendly and I was pleased with my pedicure with Laurie. However, I had a powder dip manicure scheduled with a specific technician by request and someone else did my nails. I was disappointed as I feel the nail tech only did a mediocre job. My daughter had a powder dip and asked for a specific length with square shape and wound up with shorter rounded nails. Also, there were quite a few flaws with the polish. So again, I appreciated the friendliness of the staff but what disappointed with the quality of the service. read more

I'm usually not one to leave a negative review. I've been to many nail salons, but this by far is the worst one . I had gel nails with a tip and just needed a dip to fill . They started to soak my hands to remove the gel and I asked them why . The man said " that's how we do it" I let him remove them thinking they'd put on a fresh set and tips. His wife sits down and starts filing and said I didn't need a tip and they were just going to put gel over my real nails .. The man and his wife kept going back and forth telling me they don't do it that way . I'm thinking what do you mean you don't do it that way , you're a nail salon and you don't put tips on ? meanwhile their kid is running around, pushing my chair, grabbing stuff off the counter and distracting them. I told them I'd just pay for whatever it is they did and I'm going to where I usually go. I left with my nails looking SO horrible and bumpy with gel half on from them trying to remove it .
