I got a small cup with pistachio and dark chocolate, as I was in the mood for something nutty and rich. The pistachio was very good--not the most memorable, but definitely nutty and flavorful. They're definitely doing it justice here. The dark chocolate was deep and rich, but maybe a bit too sweet for my taste. My husband got a hazelnut milkshake, which was thinner than milkshakes in the US that use ice cream, but he loved the strong flavors and still enjoyed it. It's probably the only time he's ever been satisfied with a thin milkshake. The people working inside were nice, and there were even a couple chairs right outside where we sat and enjoyed our afternoon treat. A very good option if you're looking for gelato in the city.

I stayed in Riomaggiore for the weekend (2 nights) and managed to stop by 4 times... and even though that might sound like a gross amount of times I enjoyed every single bite each time and definitely could've stayed for more! One of my favorite flavors ever is pistachio when it's made correctly so I was dying to try it out! The first sample I had made me fall in love. The gelato tasted exactly like perfectly roasted pistachios in a creamy form. It tasted so real and fresh and at that moment I knew how much I loved Italy. Here's a short list of all of the flavors I tried (again, I'm not ashamed!) He was courteous, even with the people that didn't speak Italian, and very efficient. Gelato: I was with a group of 4 people and we all tried different flavors.
